Thinking of Employee Evaluation Forms for Incumbent Elected Officials
Vanity | 29 January, 2014 | Self

Living in TEXAS, I have been hearing campaign ads being aired by Senator John Cornyn that really are irritating me. In these ads, one would not know that Senator Cornyn IS the Senate Minority Whip or that he's been in the Senate for almost a full 2 terms (11 years). Further, he paints a self portrait as being a Real Conservative just like me.

In light of this, I am preparing to fill out an Employee Performance Evaluation form and then send it to him.

Can anybody recommend a good and comprehensive form with which to do this? I'm also thinking that this might not be a bad idea for other Incumbents that want to "white-out" their resume'.

I appreciate your help.

We need a huge website where constituents can submit reports on their reps and senators and let the public see.

Unfortunately congress will write a law (if there isn’t already one) prohibiting this.

We need far more than the useless ad campaigns.

I think that is also a very good idea.

What I am thinking with filling out an Employee Performance Evaluation on my elected office holders, is that as OUR employee, shouldn’t they be reviewed and evaluated in just the same way that most of us are by those who hire us?

I also think that rather that just pull the lever for an Incumbent, stop and take a good hard look at how they have done the job that we hired them to do. I can say from my point of view, Cornyn is justified in not wanting TEXANS to take a hard look at his record in the Senate.

Just in the way that he stabbed TED CRUZ in the back is enough reason for me to want to fire him.

Looks good! However, I would like to step up from an hourly employee to one that is salaried. A bit of a nit-pick, I guess. I’ll give it a shot anyway!

Thank You!

As a follow up to our earlier posts...

I went to GradeGov.com and signed up. Then I gave Senator John Cornyn my grade on his performance.

My grade and letter to him:

“I gave you a grade of D. And to be perfectly honest, I was being charitable. I have repeatedly asked that you stand up for our Conservative Values rather than working to thwart our efforts to defund Obamacare and to stop the Senate AMNESTY efforts. You have repeatedly ignored requests to vote against Confirmation of people like John Kerry as Secretery of State and Chuck Hagel as Secretery of Defense when it is plain that these people are not at all qualified for those positions.

You have been in the Senate for 12 years and honestly seem to have adopted the idea that you are somehow entitled to remain there. You also give the impression that you are more loyal to the GOP Establishment than you are to the Oath of Office that demands that your primary function is to “Preserve and Protect the Constitution of the United States”. I find this to be totally unacceptable and more than enough reason to see that you are replaced as Senator from the Lone Star State.”

I will NOT be voting to keep Cornyn in the Senate. He’s earned “retirement”.
