Here is James Madison in Federalist Paper No. 51: “In order to lay a due foundation for that separate and distinct exercise of the different powers of government, which to a certain extent is admitted on all hands to be essential to the preservation of liberty, it is evident that each department should have a will of its own; and consequently should be so constituted that the members of each should have as little agency as possible in the appointment of the members of the others.”
He went even further: “It is of great importance in a republic not only to guard the society against the oppression of its rulers, but to guard one part of the society against the injustice of the other part.”
But here comes our commander in chief, who customarily tosses the separation of powers into the nearest wastepaper basket. Dig this recent headline from bizpac.com, which summed up Barack Obama’s approach to passing legislation in 2014: “‘I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone’: Obama says he’ll run right over Congress this year” (Michael Dorstewitz, Jan. 15).
Now Obama has been publicly glorifying the extent of his seemingly boundless executive powers, as Justin Snow reported for Metro Weekly:

Impeach the bastard all they want; the Senate will NEVER vote to convict if we don’t get control of the Senate this year. And even then, all the spineless, RINOs like John McCain would never vote to convict.
At least the Ukranians are showing they have the guts to ouster a commie.

Exactly....if you read the rest of my comment, I basically said, that simple control would not guarantee a conviction.
He’s not impeachable, because no one has the balls to impeach the first black president.
Sorry Nat, if America’s woes could be stopped by removing little barry bastard boy there would be possible light at the end of the tunnel Obama. But our woes are much more insidious than just getting the little degenerate puppet out of office and neither the democrips nor the republicants are interested in turning the ship around, They are owned.
If you impeach him, you will at least get his attention. Even if you can’t remove him, you can neuter him.

I applaud Nat Hentoff. Does he still write for the Village Voice? Nat is about as liberal as they come, but a Constitutional liberal. That is the difference. He shows us in his short commentary, the beauty of the Constitution and how it is being tossed in the waste paper basket.
It is not only this president, others in the past have lead to this point, but what about the future? If this one is not stopped with his lawlessness, then the next president, or the one after that, could be the one that finally lowers the hammer on what little freedoms we still have.
The American People need to act now. Will they? Probably not.
Obama can show all he wants and as long as he's black, he's not impeachable by the House of Representatives.
However, that raises the question of would it be possible to just impeach the white half of him?
As did the Romanians with the Ceausescus.
Regardless of the lawlessness of the Senate, it is the DUTY of the House to impeach Obama.

Barry Soetoro is a dangerous malignant narcissist. If you impeach him and do not remove him you buy a much worse treachery than now being unrolled upon US.

Obama thinks he is in the following “can’t lose” position:
1) If he rules by unconstitutionally Presidential Order and gets away with it, he can advance the cause of communism and tyranny on the cheap.
2) If his unconstitutional deeds provoke impeachment, he and his news media will portray him as a victim of racist, anti-government thugs; most of the public will buy it, the RINOcracy will capitulate again, and he will emerge stronger.
His every move right now is designed to rally the dependency rabble to steal the next election. Better to deny them the issue, and use his machinations to energize freedom voters.
