I think it was a local commercial during the break between 3rd and 4th quarter in certain markets.

Hard to believe the Eagles have only been to the Super Bowl twice, 1980 and 2004, and lost both times...

sigh... the Curse of Billy Penn...

It’ll come up for a lot of superbowl games, I suspect.

BTW, that denver drive to a touchdown was amazing. Too amazing.

For a minute or so I thought I was watching a completely different game, then the two pointer and we were back to the Superbowl.

Someone with authority did not want a zero in the final score.

They’ve won NFL Championships, pre-SB days, though.

I think they kidnapped his kids and warned him that he had better throw the game.

“...They’ve won NFL Championships, pre-SB days, though...”

But what have ya done for me lately... Eh. They have legions of dedicated fans that get heartbroken every year (investing too much emotion into a game...). I’ve seen grown men argue and yell at each other - almost to the point of fist - over this crap. Ridiculous.

My view: If it doesn’t pay my bills, put food on table, or put ammo in my numerous ammo stashes, it ain’t all that important.

Glad you got a nice win. Congrats! You’re entitled to smile all week. Enjoy it.

My family and I vacation in Seattle every 2-3 years. We love it there.

That may be the single best excuse for losing a game as badly as they did this one that I have EVER heard!!!

Yes, brother; life shows up what’s important and what isn’t.

I saw it as a classic example of so called professionals expecting experience and not professionalism to carry the day.

In the exuberance of youth Seattle premiered the expectation of professionalism.

And now have the experience.

Congrats to team Seahawks.

I’m glad my work is getting the recognition it deserves!!!!

Anyway, maybe the young Seahawks will have the dynasty the Bears could have had. Charles Martin, keep burning in hell.

Manning, best in the reg season, sure. Can’t say best ever when he’s so mediocre in the postseason, the Lord needs the Rings. The Saints that beat him a few years ago were very good and these Seahawks were clearly the better team overall despite being the underdog (imagine if they had Percy Harvin all year, they might have been 16-0), but the best QB ever would show up bigger in those games. I thought he would today, nope.

He’s 9-12 overall in the playoffs now. He’s a good a Republican I believe. His constant ads are annoying but I wish him well.

I’m in my 30’s and had never heard of him. Reminded me of a bad Prince imitation.

But I’m a rock fan, not a modern pop fan.

The worst SuperBowl game evah played looking at the optics was when the 85 Chicago Bears who absolutely destroyed the hapless Patriots. Rushers like Richard Dent was coming off the edge who was killing Eason and Grogan.

“No one will ever touch Joe Montana as the greatest QB ever”

He has four Super Bowl rings, same number as Terry Bradshaw.
Montana’s regular season numbers were no better than Bradshaw but Bradshaw is not mentioned as one of the greatest.

Peyton Manning has the best regular season numbers in history, but is 1-2 in the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady has all kinds of regular season records and won 3 Super Bowls.

If Brady wins another before he retires, he becomes the greatest quarterback in history. That’s the way I look at it. So if Bradshaw is not considered great why is Montana?
