Defense wins games every time. Makes no difference who the quarterback is. Ask Tom Brady and now Peyton Manning.

Yes, indeed. Even the Rams are going to be a force to reckon with, with the 3rd and 13th overall picks. They're going for yet more defense.

This is a very, very special night.

RE Sherman: He’s loud, but good and he won fair and square.

“Broncos were overwhelmed in dramatic fashion... Sorta like the Germans going around the Maginot line.”

O U C H ! ! !

This game ends any talk of P. Manning being considered the best QB ever; that title still belongs to JOE MONTANA!!!

I think they snuck it in...

A special night for us, 35 years in coming...

This could be very good for the League in an age of sissification of the game, as a tough, physical team prevailed over an all-time great offense with... what else? I lay the blame squarely at the feet of John Elway.

Good luck next year...

Close, but no cigar.

Why did he wear 19?

Oh, I know why.

I don’t know... one bad game doesn’t negate an entire career... Granted, though, it WAS a Super Bowl, and if you’re gonna blow a game, that’s DEFINITELY not the one to choke in...

But it takes a WHOLE team to win and lose a game; Manning didn’t lose this one alone. There was a whole PASSEL o’ Orange Jersey’s out there making the International Choking sign of distress...

I think Peyton’s place in NFL history is pretty much secure, in spite of this.

You oughta see the celebration going on in Downtown Seattle! Happy pandemonium!

Victory parade was announced for 11:00am to 1:30pm on Wednesday.

Oh, he’s one of the greats, but he didn’t show up at all. The entire DEN team stuck to high Heaven.

No one will ever touch Joe Montana as the greatest QB ever.

It was a very different era, but statistically, Namath’s numbers aren’t great.

Yeah, they sure earned it.

And it’s their first. It’ll always be memorable for them.

I was really embarrassed when we were watching that commercial where the lady was wiping the stuff off the guy’s face, then kissing it off, then he dropped some in his crotch. Before I could remember where I was I burst into uncontrollable laughter.

I just watched “Invincible” last night, about 30 year old rookie Vince Papale from South Philly, making the Eagles back in the 70s. I remember that time. He had a lot of guts, that guy.

I think you have to credit, or blame, this game to the coaches. Seattle was ready — Denver was not.
