Families shopping for health insurance through the new federal marketplace are running into trouble getting everyone covered when children are eligible for Medicaid but their parents are not.
Children who qualify for Medicaid, the safety-net program for the poor and disabled, can’t be included on subsidized family plans purchased through the federal marketplace, a fact that is taking many parents by surprise and leaving some kids stuck without coverage.

At the same time my private insurance can now ration my two-year-old’s asthma prevention inhaler due to obamacare. Don’t worry, she still has unlimited access to the pill and Plan B!
Give me a second helping of Obamacare. Mmmm...Mmmm...Good. /sarcasm.

Suprised anyone? It figures having little CO2 producing critters (aka: children) would not be encouraged, thus not eligible for “affordable healthcare” coverage. Said before, but needs to repeated often! The whole leftist (misnamed) “progressive” agenda is basically anti-human… from abortion on demand to killing those who are handicapped or comatose (Terri Schiavo and the woman in Texas, Marlise Muñoz come to mind).
Now in NYC old mayor Doomberg and new mayor “Red” de Blasio want to warehouse human beings in 200-300 sq, ft “cells” and call it “affordable housing”. The “settled” (anti?)science of “global warming” (aka: climate change on cold days) seeks to ration every aspect of what used to be “normal life”… as too much freedom and prosperity “harms” the earth…CO2 a product of life is now the enemy! So it, (and us) must be controlled. Satan hates the human race and apparently so do (il)liberals (themselves excepted of course). So good luck to those of us “lessers” who encounter death panels… who shall determine our “worth” to “society” (aka: them, our owners). For bottom line we are only here to serve our (il)liberal masters, when no longer “useful” we shall be dispensed. See Book of Revelation for further info on this the “New World Order”.

I have a young grandaughter with type 1 diabetes. Her parents income thank god qualify her for medicaid while they have a seperate plan. Her diabetes meds and testing supplies retail would be over $1k a month. Her medicaid just notified the parents that the test strips she uses will not be covered and she has to change them. The strips she uses are for a glucose tester that transmits the readings to her insulin pump, a change will require the child every time she tests to manually enter the readings to the pump (good luck with a youngun in school remembering that). The tester was provided with the pump and just the test strips are needed to be provided. The real kicker is that the strips she uses now are cheaper by about $10.00 a tube than the ones they want her to change to.
Just no sense to some of these companys at all.
This “Law” is so outrageously flawed that it defies description. It looks like it was concocted by that fictional team of 1000 monkeys on 1000 typewriters.
Then voted into law by 219 monkeys who had no idea what was inside the bill. Nor did they care.

32 times the republicans voted to stop Obamacare and the democrats sat around with their finger up each others a$$ better remember that at election time for the next tem years.
As long as we’re paying, I don’t see why their kids should get better care than the other kids we’re paying for.
The purpose of this is confiscating people’s assets, pure & simple. If not this generation, then certainly the next. The left *will* get us into those urban housing blocks & public transportation, one way or another. This was stated before 0Care had even “passed”.
A friend at church was telling me about this yesterday. Her 18 (almost 19 yo) daughter cannot get coverage under her family plan because the govt insists that she can apply and receive medicaid. I said something casually about how the govt has really messed things up. She agreed saying something to the effect that the Republicans wouldn’t let Obama do his original plan which is why the current plan is “all messed up”. I said I never heard that before. It must be the new meme along with “income inequality”. Heard on the radio today that “income inequality” is the reason for so many people being on food stamps. (Really, I thought it was because of our lousy president.)
The long acting steroid inhaler is “subject to quantity limitations.” The rescue inhaler is still okay. For now anyway.
