Kashkari has TARP smell all over him, I can’t believe the guy is running as a Republican. If I didn’t know better I’d say he was planted in the race to siphon money away from legitimate contenders.
Sad to say, there aren't any legitimate contenders. Republicans haven't won a single state-wide office in California in, IIRC, 10 years. The California Republican Party today has almost no donors, and the unfortunate consequence is that nobody of any stature is going to run against Brown.
