Thugs don’t have an MBA from Stanford.
His only mistake was accepting an interview at that moment. He was still in ‘warrior’ game mode. He’s a hell of a player and a sharp guy. He is still a football player and relies on getting angry to perform at the high level needed to do his job.
In my opinion he showed himself to be a no class thug. Ain’t nobody gonna change my mind.
He’s still a part of thug culture. Like many supposedly “educated” he de-evolves into ghetto talk in the heat of the moment.
So sick of this non-controversy. I saw the interview when it happened and I thought it was a good argument against interviewing players immediately after a game. These guys are jacked up on adrenaline and testosterone, things are said. I didn’t know anything about this guy before the interview, but from what I’ve seen since then he seems congenial and thoughtful. This is a media-driven thing; they make me sick. And Erin Andrews looking dazed and confused on the field was funny. pfft
Earlier in the article, he said when it comes to football, he likes the "old school game." But when it comes to dealing with the media, he's quickly learning the "new school game" of playing the race card and turning into what Larry Elder calls a victicrat.
On the contrary, DC is full of educated people.
At its root, the word "Thuggee" means "deceivers," and this name hints at the methods employed by the cult.
Bands of Thugs traveled across the country posing as pilgrims, merchants, soldiers, or even royalty, in groups numbering anywhere from a few men to several hundred. Offering protection or company, they would befriend fellow travelers and slowly build their confidence along the road. Often the impostors would journey for days and hundreds of miles with their intended victims, patiently waiting for an opportunity to strike.
When the time was right, typically while their targets were encamped and at their most relaxed, a signal would be givenreportedly Bring the tobaccoand the Thugs would spring. Each member had a well-honed specialty; some distracted their quarry, some made noise or music to mask any cries, while others guarded the campsite from intruders and escapees. Thugs of the highest rank performed the actual killings.
As a prohibition against shedding blood was at the core of Thuggee belief, the murders were performed in a bloodless fashion. The usual method was strangulation with a rumal, the yellow silk handkerchief each thug wore tied around his waist; but an occasional neck-breaking or poisoning helped to add some variety. It was a matter of honor for the Thugs to let no one escape alive once they had been selected for death.-Tom
A thug can mean a mobster or gangster.
Sherman is now playing the race card.
Thug is not a racial slur. Although Sherman is now hiding behind the race card.
Richard Sherman is no thug like Jack Tatum !!
Kupernick should have never thrown that ball, terrible decision. It wasn’t a great play as much as a poor ball.
Reminds of how the Zimmerman/Trayvon story played out. At first I heard that a night watchman stalked and killed a kid because he was black. Once more facts came out, a different picture emerged,
I believe this is all a big publicity stunt - and it’s working well.
But those with an MBA from Stanford can act like a Thug.
Was it actually earned or was he a product of affirmative action and football skills?
Well then, accepting your argument in favor of Sherman, that certainly puts an end to the controversy regarding President Obama's college career and his ultimate law degree from Harvard and his tenure as president of the Harvard Law Review, doesn't it?
How many more "?" words will be declared off limits by our Thought Police?
This is juvenile, really grade school stuff. But it illustrates what we are becoming as a nation. It is not a good place to be.
MBA's don't get on TV and act like a gang-banging thug and have full sleeves. Sherman's a thug and I cannot wait to see Peyton Manning and the Bronco's burn his ass in the superbowl.
