There is. This wasn't the first time the shooter had badgered someone for texting in a theater. He was looking for a confrontation and ended up murdering someone. He deserves life. At 71 any sentence of 20 years or more would essentially be a life sentence. And that's a good thing.

There is more to this story I've been wondering exactly what that "more" is? The given story is words were exchanged, but I have a feeling the texter got hot-headed about anyone telling him to shut his phone off and immediately ramped up the tension. Doesn't justify the shooting, unless more information comes out.
