To answer the question that keeps invading my vacation in the form of tweets, Facebook messages, texts, and emails Congressman Jim Bridenstine. Jim is the guy I would support in an instant to replace Senator Coburn in Okalahoma. I dont know whether he is running or not, but conservatives would be insane to not draft him into the race. In fact, I think conservatives should draft him, rally around him, and let the establishment be the side divided behind multiple candidates.
When Coburn ran for the Senate in 2004, the establishment rallied behind his opponent in the primary. Coburn was the outsider. But conservatives united behind him, rallied, and won. We need to do the same for Jim Bridenstine.
Jims a veteran, a friend, a solid conservative, and would continue Senator Coburns commitment to rooting out government waste, fraud, and abuse. Hed also stand with Senators Cruz and Lee to fight the fight that must be fought even against his own side over the size and scope of the federal government.
I dont even have to consider other candidates in Oklahoma. In my mind, Jim is the only guy Id want to support without reservation. I hope hell run.
Now back to vacation.
100% agree. Bridenstine will make an EXCELLENT senator.
I just with that traitor SOB Orrin Hatch would retire before 2018, so we could have a special to replace him. Mia Love would be an excellent choice for that seat.
Representative Bridenstine is down at the Tea Party Convention in South Carolina this weekend. He would be an absolutely wonderful Senator and another much needed reinforcement for Ted Cruz.
Bridenstine seems to be the best candidate so far. I’ll give it some study when other candidates emerge. Remember he is a politician so...
Ill be honest if we could just stop the infighting we could easily recapture the senate and the presidency even thou many of our fellow ‘republicans’ would be in name only. That is the key to building a majority.
You uses the wip once you have that majority not before.
Congressman Lankford has jumped in and he has Coburn’s support.
