I am getting pretty tired of all this talk for and against “Tea Pertiers”. There is no such thing as a “Tea Party”. I know of no National Committee or National Chairman of the so-called “Tea Party”. There are individuals who lay claim to represent the “Tea Party”, but for the most part they do so for political gain and some media attention. There have been good candidates making this claim and their have been some very bad ones which is why Harry Reid is still in charge of the Senate. I subscribe to Ronald Reagans old axiom that anyone who agrees with me 80% of the time in my friend. Mc Connell meets that test and if voters in KY are looking for someone who agrees with them 100% of the time they are chasing phantoms and could cause the election of another Democrat.

And this is the problem
Which 20% are you willing to let the Liberal RINOs pass on? ObamaCare? Illegal Alien Amnesty? Homosexual Marriaige and Benefits? Welfare Spending? Weakness on Border Security/National Security?
I am glad folks are waking up to the fact that voting for a Liberal GOP candidate is still voting Liberal.
Yes, I agree there is no formalized group called the Tea Party. I think of the Tea Party as your every day conservative. But we don’t have to read many articles here on FR to understand that there is a war on those people, being waged by the GOPe. For instance, Steve La Tourette’s group, funded 86% by democrats.
McConnell may be conservative, basically, but he no longer fights for principles. It’s time to retire these guys in favor of those who WILL fight. Otherwise, we might as well give in to the left, as they are the only ones who are making progress (!) towards their goals.
McConnell has not voted the way I wanted him to 80% of the time, nor has he stood up the Dems like I think a leader should. I think we should retire some of the older ones and get new blood into the Senate. Senators Cruz and Lee have made me proud and we need more like them. So, replacing McConnell, Grahham, Cornyn, etc, will show that we expect them to represent our wishes, not theirs. IMO
If McConnell himself would accept that rule. He is meddling in a senate race in Nebraska against a candidate who dared criticize him.
McConnell is a rat who has betrayed us OVER AND OVER again. Let me guess... you wanna keep Johnny Boner too.
But, I'm letting it go cheap.
I subscribe to Ronald Reagans old axiom that anyone who agrees with me 80% of the time in my friend. Mc Connell meets that test.......

Maybe so, but it’s the 20% that is so damaging to Kentucky and this nation. When Harry Reid changed the Senate Rules to get Obama’s Liberal agenda passed, instead of rising up and going to battle, “B**ch” McConnell said: “It’s not a day to fight...it’s a day to be sad.” WHAT??? Shut your ignorant mouth you prune face a**hole. Man-up and grow a pair.
Carly Fiorina. Linda McMahon (twice). Arlen Specter. Connie Mack. Scott Brown. Tommy Thompson. Not to mention the current group like McCain, Cornyn, Graham, Ayotte and Flake. Why is it that nobody talks about this gang of thieves as a reason why Harry Reid is still in charge of the Senate?
Oh, right. They're establishment.
I subscribe to Ronald Reagans old axiom that anyone who agrees with me 80% of the time in my friend.
It was progressive Republicans who insisting on cutting retirement pay. Not Democrats. You need to realize these beltway GOP operators don’t give a darn about us on Main Street. 80% of caring nothing about us is still nothing.
