I start with an apology to faithful Christians who believe in one Christ the Savior. This column is not about religion, but about a classical psychological study of three mental patients in Ypsilanti, Michigan, each of whom believed he was the true Christ. The study appeared in 1964, called The Three Christs of Ypsilanti.

Milton Rokeach, who conducted the study, was one of the most brilliant social psychologists of the 20th century, focusing on the crucial question: why are human beings so prone to delusional beliefs? Why do we gamble everything we love on plain falsehoods?

World War II was provoked, after all, by leaders of major countries who were profoundly delusional, hateful, and murderous -- in Japan, the USSR, Germany, and Italy. Stalin was diagnosed as a paranoid by a famous Soviet psychiatrist who knew him well, V.M. Bekhterev. Bekhterev was promptly executed for his diagnosis.

Reminds me of the old story about a nut house that had two Napoleons. A shrink got the bright idea that it might be helpful to put them together in a padded cell overnight to see if they could somehow help each other out.

The next morning, the door opened and the first inmate emerged. The doc asked him who he was and he answered, "Napoleon."

A few minutes later, the second inmate came out and the disappointed doctor said, "I suppose your name is Napoleon."

Kerry and Obama “believe” in their cause in order to elevate themselves, and by doing so, are leading us down the garden path.

I believe I read somewhere that the SecGen can not come from one of the five permanent Security Council nations. If that is in fact true, I would expect we can see an authentic Kenyan birth certificate sometime in late January/early February 2017. Either that, or the rule would just be ignored.

I was expecting this - may not happen straight away but his ego couldn’t couldn’t cope with a backward step to doing nothing. He needs unfettered power so he can change America and the world from outside the system. All for our own good of course because he is “The One” we have been waiting for - a light filled being.
