'How can we redistribute if there's no wealth?'
American Thinker ^ | 01/16/2014 | Ethel C. Fenig

Maybe France's President François Hollande's publicly revealed, private personal indiscretions (ok, maybe in France they're not considered indiscretions but standard operating domestic procedures) also prompted him to publicly question the standard operating procedures of France's socialist economy.

With French unemployment officially at over 10.5%, unofficially probably higher, Hollande put on his clothes, slunk out of his latest female friend's apartment and stood before the national enquiring minds of not only the French press but the international media as well, plaintively asking:

"How can we run a country if entrepreneurs don't hire?" he said. "And how can we redistribute if there's no wealth?"

In the words of a six year old, "Duh!"

Hollande certainly noticed that adding a 75% surcharge on multi, multi millionaires' income, including star sports figures, doesn't yield more tax revenue but literally kicks out the star business generators to friendlier tax countries. Whoops - nothing to redistribute--not that there is anything right with the government forcibly redistributing private income.

Why should entrepreneurs hire when hiring--and firing--is an expensive, punishing obstacle course in France?  As one French entrepreneur explained,

Socialism fails every time and everywhere. People who promote socialism are foolish, those that implement it are guilty of crimes against humanity.

‘How can we redistribute if there’s no wealth?’

The answer is simple.

The wealth gets redistributed to the redistributors and their cohorts.

We get distributed zero.

Zero = zero.

Income equality achieved.

How do we distinguish between theft and taxes?

We’re well beyond wealth redistribution and now we’re in full on poverty redistribution mode.

Trickle down poverty works every time its tried.

It definitely makes more sense to start a business in Germany than it does in France.

Both use the Euro so you can incorporate in one and sell in both. Germany's VAT rate is 19%, France is 20%, so there no enormous difference there. If you solely consider the VAT rate you domicile in Luxembourg, with the lowest rate of 15%.

France is a nightmare when terminating employees.

As one would expect, both is each other's main Export partner.

Surprise, surprise, there's a trade imbalance between, and trade with France is net positive for Germany.

Interestingly, Le Pen's GRANDDAUGHTER, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, became the youngest MP ever - at 22 years old - for Vaucluse's 3rd constituency.

Her website...

Congratulations, Marion !

Perhaps there is hope for legitimate, balanced trade. It's difficult to have if a trading partner does harm to their own self-interest.

An oldie but a goodie: Will Smith (on French TV) finds out that they would want him to pay 75% in taxes:

The interviewer is speaking in French, but you can easily make out Smith’s classic reaction.

How do we distinguish between theft and taxes?

If George Carlin's analysis of a few years ago still holds, the difference is that you might be able to say "no" to a thief six times and not get a bullet in the head.

Socialists believe in their very heart of hearts that the must impose socialism in order to achieve a kind of common salvation for those who have achieved the higher consciousness of the Perfect Socialist Man. No price is too high for humanity to pay, you see. Our eternal lives are at stake. You all will thank socialism when it finally succeeds.

Now, thanks to Keynes and his wacky economic theory, socialism can have infinite prosperity via the mechanism of infinite fiat money.

It is all perfectly explainable. It is a grand, systematic mirage crafted to achieve the Secular Millennium.

People who promote socialism are foolish, those that implement it are guilty of crimes against humanity.

Yet - they are walking around alive and free. And in charge of things.

Annals of Congress, House of Representatives, 3rd Congress, 1st Session, page 170 (1794-01-10)
The Annals summarize speeches in the third person, with the actual text of Madison’s quote as follows: “Mr. Madison wished to relieve the sufferers, but was afraid of establishing a dangerous precedent, which might hereafter be perverted to the countenance of purposes very different from those of charity. He acknowledged, for his own part, that he could not undertake to lay his finger on that article in the Federal Constitution which granted a right of Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”

That’s the point when a socialist paradise must invade another nation and take their wealth.

The useful idiots may believe that claptrap but the men and the top running the show know that its all about pure power and domination. They like causing pain and destruction.

Capitalism produces the things that Liberals/Progressives/Socialists/Communists wish to "redistribute."

Without capitalism, the thieves have nothing to "redistribute."

The ones with the wealth (elitists) won’t be redistributed. Its the middle class that has to give it up.
