A comprehensive report by the Senate Intelligence Committee definitively declared that individuals tied to Al Qaeda groups were involved in the Benghazi attack, challenging recent claims that the terror network was not a factor.
The report was released Monday, nearly one year after then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, under congressional questioning over the nature of the attack, shouted at lawmakers: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
The administration initially claimed the attack sprung out of a protest, but has since given a more complicated assessment. Still, administration officials all along have downplayed Al Qaeda involvement, recently seizing on a New York Times report that supported those claims.

Even the video excuse is lame. A private citizen with no connection to government makes a little film about Mohammed and the United States of America is somehow complicit? It’s ridiculous in so many ways. If I make a similar film tomorrow can we expect an attack on our embassy in Egypt? Absurd.

When the State Dept and the White House and Susan Rice and others claimed that the slaughter and myahem were not planned and that the anniversary of 9/11 had nothing to do with the terrorist violence against Embassy Staff in Benghazi, only someone younger than five years old or someone unable to think for himself might have believed she was not telling a fictional tale and actually herself knew the truth. They all sounded lie big fat lies right at the time.
I think they can’t tell us what Obamanation was doing after the attack started so they made up a (ridiculous) lie.
Getting his beauty rest with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, in preparation for his campaign and fundraising appearance out West the following day? Performing afternoon or evening prayers on his prayer rug in his bedroom? Playing night golf? Going over his kids’ spelling words with them? Helping Michelle plan required cafeteria menus for the children of America? Rewriting some more history?
