Kerr: Time to pass the dream act
Stafford County Sun ^ | January 10, 2014 | DAVID S. KERR For the Stafford County Sun

It’s called the Dream Act. At 700 pages it’s arguably too wordy and too complicated, but it’s the first major bill to address the issue of nearly 11 million individuals who are here in the United States without proper documentation. And, before anybody says it, yes, I know, that means they’re illegal. The Senate passed the bill in 2013, with strong bi-partisan support, but it faces heavy going in the House of Representatives. It may never come to the floor. The Tea Party faction in the House, which is strongly anti-immigrant, is adamantly opposed to it. But even if the bill doesn’t pass, it’s a problem that can’t be ignored forever. The Dream Act, which would provide a path to legal residence, is not an easy ride. There are numerous requirements to achieving residency status, including the payment of back taxes if owed (many already pay taxes in one form or another), having a clean record and getting squared away with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. It’s no give away. It requires the patience of a saint, but at least it provides a legal mechanism to do something with nearly 11 million immigrants, mostly Hispanic, who live outside the law. It’s not a perfect solution. Some would argue it rewards illegal behavior. But in terms of being practical, it’s a reasonable approach. Also, it represents one thing many people forget and that’s that we really are better off with more immigrants. Thanks to a large immigrant population, the youngest group being Hispanic, America has one of the most youthful populations in the developed world. This means a lot to a nation’s success.

payment of back taxes if owed (many already pay taxes in one form or another)LOl in other words there will never be collection of taxes..And here..Hispanics have the highest labor participation rate of any group in America. This means they are more likely to be employed than anyone else...Sure illegal hispanics also abuse our entitlement programs,demand free college educations,demand laws be ignored.Illegal hispanics have highest rate of using document fraud,hit and runs,drunk driving,skipping out on paying their bills.Causing fatal accidents with no insurance to pay medical expenses,do not pay restitution. Get deported and come back and get deported and come back,etc,etc..Illegals he claims pay billions in taxes, we pay billions upon billions trying to keep them out the country at the southern border.Not to forget illegals kids get free school breakfast,lunches,take home meals,free medical care.File fraudulent child tax credits.Remember earlier post FR..That illegals are collecting medicare part d drug plan..But according to Karr they are the salt of the earth.If hispanics retain such special powers would be better to deport them back to Mexico to use their super powers to improve Mexico.This guy given me the best laugh of 2014 so far ..Kerr thinks so highly of illegals how about he adopt some families he so glosses over them explaing how illegal aliens can do more than any other race on earth..Mexico prime example of their ability to make the world a better place

Let's summary. Take the American Dream away from Americans. Then let the Americans subsidize the American Dream for Non-Americans. Sounds well thought out. Kudos to the US Federal Government.

This one’s not just for the ‘kids’ who grew up and went to school here according to this writer.

Its for them all.

“Pay back taxes’ always kills me.

Anti immigrant my foot. When the US was in a Depression, FDR a Dem limited immigration. Common sense thing to do. Kids grad from college unable to get a job even with tech degrees, 50 to 200 applicants for one blue collar or service job opening. You do not solve this by making illegals legal, refuse to enforce immigration laws and increase more legal immigrants and tech guest workers!!! Lock and load unemploy, time to storm the Chamber of Commerce and the mansions of the greedy CEO’s!!!/sarc

We are talking about Foreign Criminal Invaders and these “officials” keep seeing votes. They have no use for US citizens any more.

The Dream Act, which would provide a path to legal residence, is not an easy ride.

If the rats have their way, it will be.

including the payment of back taxes if owed

Of course we know that will not happen.

It’s no give away.

If the rats have their way, it will be.

Some would argue it rewards illegal behavior

Yes it does. Kinda sucks.

No.

No more immigration, until Americans have jobs.

Stop it!

he Tea Party faction in the House, which is strongly anti-immigrant . . .

Actually, no. The Tea Party is strongly anti tax and has mixed views of immigration. The overwhelming majority are, however, opposed to crime and do not want criminals to be rewarded for their crimes. There is no clear Tea Party position on immigrants as a whole.

What happened to the liberal celebration of "nuance"? The far left wants to treat immigrants as a single interest group, while responsible Americans distinguish between immigrants with key job skills who come here legally to perform work that Americans cannot do and criminals who violate the law when entering our country.

HERE'S THE GAMEPLAN Thomas Donohue, Chamber president and CEO, declared 2014 the “year of immigration reform.” “We’re determined to make 2014 the year that immigration reform is finally enacted. The chamber will pull out all the stops—through grassroots lobbying, communications, politics and partnerships with our friends in the unions, faith-based organizations, law enforcement groups, and others, to get this job done”.

ALL OF THAT POLITICAL LOCKSTEPPING IS REDOLENT OF 1940'S-ERA EUROPE The Chamber lock-stepping w/ pressure groups; the US Senate voting in lockstep; all of them lock-stepping to advance Third World goals---to fulfill the political Dream of a permanent Democrat majority.

AMERICANS SEE THE CHAMBER AND US LAWMAKERS IN LOCKSTEP---COLLUDING TO EFFECT A THIRD WORLD COUPE D'ETAT. The not so well-hidden amnesty agenda seems to have specific goals:

<><> (1) undermining US ntl security,

<><> (2) aiding and abetting crimes against Americans,

<><> (3) financing Third World political goals w/ US tax dollars,

<><> (4) suppressing dissent.

IS A "PUTSCH" IN THE OFFING?

SENATOR SCHUMER'S (DIMIT-NY) AMNESTY CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Sen Schumer was talking about his constituents when he stomped on Sen Grassley's effort to protect US citizens from ID fraud:

SCHUMER NIXES THE GRASSLEY AMENDMENT TO THE AMNESTY BILL: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers (and stole SS ##'s). How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of the amnesty bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge (and steal) Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

Led by Schumer, the Senate Judiciary committee voted in lockstep on a straight party-line vote to defeat Sen Grassley's courageous effort to protect Americans.

===========================================

NEED TO KNOW L/E needs to determine if Schumer benefited and/or facilitated ID fraud. Schumer's constituents pulled this off smoothly for ages. Were govt resources used to paper over these crimes----for a price?

RICO NAILS IT---an elected or appointed official using official offices to assist in the perversion of justice----is subject to RICO laws.

According to RICO laws, the co-conspirators should lose everything. Using govt authority, elected office, apppontive office, and a Congressionasl or state district for the puposes of building a criminal empire is classified as "racketeering."

18 U.S.C. § 1961 as currently amended, is all-encompassing and includes: Any violation of state statutes against gambling, murder, kidnapping, extortion, arson, robbery, bribery, dealing in obscene matter, or dealing in a controlled substance or listed chemical (as defined in the Controlled Substances Act);

Any act of bribery, counterfeiting, theft, embezzlement, fraud, dealing in obscene matter, obstruction of justice, slavery, racketeering, gambling, money laundering, commission of murder-for-hire, and several other offenses covered under the Federal criminal code (Title 18);

Embezzlement of union funds; Bankruptcy fraud or securities fraud; Drug trafficking; long-term and elaborate drug networks can also be prosecuted using the Continuing Criminal Enterprise Statute; Criminal copyright infringement; Money laundering and related offenses; Acts of Terrorism;

Bringing in, aiding or assisting aliens in illegally entering the country (if the action was for financial gain)..............all are prosecutable under RICO laws.

ANYONE can file a RICO action. Find numerous how-to's on the web.

=============================================

THIS IS SCHUMER'S DISTRICT: News organs report Russian Diplomats’ $1.5 Million Medicaid Fraud----Raises Questions About politicians aiding and abetting Foreign Officers Accessing Taxpayer Benefits. There's there's $$$ billions involved in Russian diplomat fraud. The real amt would expose Schumer's aiding and abetting fraud.

Billions in US govt bilk---via organized crime---from the parasites living in NYC's "Little Odessa"--Schumer's district---buncha South Brooklyn connivers sucking off the backs of struggling Americans.

NOTE These criminals are Chuck Schumer's constituents---the ones that keep him in office. Chuckie's voters spent lavishly on vacations, jewelry and electronics while they claimed poverty and stole from struggling Americans.

Schumer plans to takes over as Senate Majority Leader---that's when Chuckie will give the Russian Mob a Federal Reserve Printing Press and do away with the formalities.

NEED TO KNOW--

Russian emigrees to the US are showered w/ US freebies. Most of them headed here, fly to Israel first (posing as Jews) to suck up freebies there. Once on US soil, they falsify official documents claiming "asylum"----which generates hefty monthly SS payments. They get job-set asides (which leaves Americans unemployed). Many get UI checks, welfare, food stamps, Section 8 housing, utility subsidies, etc.

Russian emigrees repay our hospitality by getting involved in massive organized crime schemes---tagged by the FBI as the most vicious criminals in the US.

==============================================

NEED TO KNOW Did Chuckie use his govt office and US govt resources to setup freebies for these criminals in exchange for votes and campaign donations?
