The Republican National Committee unveiled a slew of new radio ads Tuesday targeting vulnerable Democratic senators and Senate hopefuls on Obamacare -- including in two races where major would-be Republican challengers have yet to join the race.
The ads are set to air in 40 media markets nationwide, including in New Hampshire, where Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is seeking re-election, and Virginia, where Democratic Sen. Mark Warner is running for a second term. Neither seat had been seriously considered to be in play, but a prominent Republican is now weighing a bid in each race: former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown in New Hampshire, and former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie in Virginia.
Although neither Brown nor Gillespie has publicly announced their candidacy, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus hinted on a conference call with reporters that national Republicans are optimistic both men might. When asked whether the RNC would continue to spend money in long-shot Virginia, Priebus said: "That's a promise. We will be involved in Virginia."
The radio ads, which attack Democrats for echoing the president's broken promise that people would be able to keep any pre-existing health care plan under Obamacare, will also target Democrats in 10 other states, including Louisiana, North Carolina, Alaska, Colorado, Arkansas and Oregon.
There should be billboards, "Democrat = Obamacare", pics of the Dem candidate with caption "From the Democratic party that brought you Obamacare" and so on. Lump them together and call them what they are.
Mark Warner does not need Obamacare because he is an android. All the more reason why he should NOT have voted for it.
I hope the Pubbies have the brains to not let Dem plants run as “Conservatives” and “Libertarians” against them again.
Funding a Libertarian to split the vote and winning with a Clintonian plurality looks like a viable Dem strategy.
Like my old CYO football coach said “we’re gonna keep running this play until they stop it”
How about Shak Hill in Virginia, or is he too conservative?

It’s GONNA HAPPEN. The Dems never abandon a successful strategy when it’s working—unlike the Stupid Party whose GOPe members abandon the concept of nominating/supporting conservatives.
I know I am in the Conservative minority here but I think this is a HUGE mistake. The sides are set on this one. No one will move. Hit another target. It’s also not passing along any information that everyone doesn’t already know, i.e. who supported ODimwit Care.
I’ll gladly eat these words but I think this is a monumental error. Spending millions to preach to the choir is utterly foolish.
Normally I'd agree but these toads run avoiding Obamacare. They make huge issues out of abortion, God, racism, whatever and it doesn't take much to get the sheeple's eye off the ball.
