I recently watched an episode of "Hotel Impossible", which was filmed on the Jersey Shore, last summer. I was amazed at the lack of "recovery", more than a year after the storm. Nothing is happening! Homes still list crookedly on their foundations, beaches are littered with dangerous debris, hotel rooms are unusable!

Obama promised help would come and this would not become another Katrina. Yet, that is exactly what has happened! The only difference in the recovery after Sandy and the recovery after Katrina is there're no cameras and reporters camping out on the Jersey shores.

After Katrina, we were "treated to" two years of continuous scrutiny of the New Orleans area. There is no such "outrage" surrounding the Sandy story, because the media can't chance hurting their "der leader"!

Just a few weeks before the presidential election, Obama promised this would not be “another Katrina”. His promise influenced the election. After he was elected, Obama forgot about the victims and it became “another Katrina”!
