Killing them and raping them says very bad things for the human race, not just for the adults who are doing it, but for the adults who stand by and let it happen.

There is a lot of "parenting" (and ALL that means) not going on these days. Wild animals do a better job of protecting their young than many humans who have offspring. The act of having kids and truly parenting them are not the same thing.
