This photo of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sitting alone on a ski lift might not look like North Korea flipping Europe a giant middle finger. But that's exactly what it is.

How do them crazy Norkies manage to get a shortage of snow in ski areas in January? I knew Communism was an amazing system for creating shortages, but I didn't think it was quite that amazing.

He is just running a load tolerance test for the lift. He weighs some 220lbs. If the lift can handle his weight, it can hold anybody in N. Korea, almost all of whom are less heavy than Kim.

Lots more snow in the photos at the link. If you look closely at the ski lift equipment, you can see rust at some of the joints. My bet is that someone contracted with the ChiComs to sell at obsolete ski lift or two for scrap metal. And the ChiCom buyers, in turn, saw a way to turn a quick buck reselling to the Norkies.
