Too bad they couldn't remove his 9 and our) biggest hemorrhoid, but we screwed up with that operation in 2012. Maybe we can do an impeachment surgery after 2014.

This happens to me every three years during my routine colonoscopy. They find some polyp, excise it, they send it to the lab and then schedule me for another exam three years hence. Sound like Netanyahu and I have the same GI guy.

Seriously though, at my last procedure a couple years ago the doctor gave me a glossy print of photos from the inside of my colon; the polyp before, after, etc. Most intriguing to me was a picture taken from the inside looking out.

It was a view I had never expected to see and one few have ever imagined.

Actually the biggest hemorrhoid came in November 2008, 2012 was just a repeat of that big ass boo boo

I was delayed doing my 3 year follow-up. Had 4 removed...3 pre-cancerous. 10 days later one decided to bleed. All night in the hospital drinking another 4 liters of Golytely so the bleeder could be fixed. Now I had to go back in August :-(

I'm due for my three year follow up in about a year myself.

Stay well, Bibi. You’re the only grown up dealing with anything in the Middle East right now...perhaps you and the Egyptian military.

"All night in the hospital drinking another 4 liters of Golytely so the bleeder could be fixed."

A lot of Docs are switching to a 'split prep' that's infinitely more tolerable than drinking a gallon of this miserable stuff. I had my 3-year followup in August and was delighted to be able to use this newer procedure.

It starts on the evening before the procedure. You take 4 inexpensive laxative pills (Dulcolax) and a couple of hours later, mix a bottle of Miralax with 64oz of Gatorade. Then you drink an 8oz glass every 15 minutes until half the mixture is gone. That only takes about an hour, or about 5 glasses. (Mixing the Miralax in increases the volume, so you're drinking more than 32oz.) That's it -- you can then go to bed!

Next morning, 4hrs before the procedure, you drink the other half. It's so much easier, because you're only drinking somewhat more than 2qts of the stuff, and it tastes much better than Golytely! And with that vile stuff, you had to drink the whole gallon-plus in one evening!

This method is far more pleasant and there's evidence that it works better, too, because more people are able to follow the instructions and consume every drop. Some people just can't handle drinking an entire gallon, and either get sick or just refuse to finish it all.

They should name the polyp “John Kerry”

Are they still able to put you in la-la land for the procedure? Even though you have had that much to drink such a short time before going under anesthetic?

Why on Earth does AP (or anybody else, for that matter) consider this item to be newsworthy?

Did it have a beard and a checkered table cloth rag on its head?

Yes, you’re still anesthetized. The morning dose has to be consumed 4 hours before arriving for the procedure, and you’re thoroughly drained by then...
