I’m for some teams but the game always has to be fair within reason.

It’s evident the Chiefs should have had a 2nd attempt to kick the FG in the game vs. San Diego Sunday. Did people see that??

http://www.sandiego6.com/story/nfl-announces-that-missed-chiefs-field-goal-should-have-been-penalty-20131230

So not sure how this might effect the game, one could think “well, the Chargers are fortunate to even be there and might play better”. But the Bengals are a bit of a juggernaut, they look real good at times. Chargers dropped a game to the Raiders, full respect to Oakland but they were rather weak this year.

Chiefs at Colts - On paper, you'd think this would be a strong game for KC, but with KC being on a 2-game losing streak and Indianapolis being one of those two teams (at Kansas City, no less, this becomes a lot more interesting. I'm going to go with the Colts here, as I don't think the rest the KC starters got last week will make that big a difference.

Saints at Eagles - The only good news for Dallas is that it's Philadelphia who will be unceremoniously ushered out of the playoffs instead of the themselves. A nice warm-up act for New Orleans as they prepare for a great matchup against the Panthers (see below).

Charges at Bengals - San Diego limped into the playoffs by everyone else losing and barely squaking by Kansas City's second string after a last-second missed FG in regulation. I don't see them causing any real trouble from the #6 spot like the Ravens were able to do last year.

49's at Packers - It's Rodgersmania!!! He's back, and he's going to lead Green Bay to... the showers and then the golf course. San Fran is the 2nd best team in the NFC, and will point out this fact abundantly to the Packers who will have no real time to get any chemistry back together and face a serious team as opposed to the hapless Bears.

I wish we could draft Johnny Manziel but if the Texans don't grab him . . .

Bender, Bender, Bender! Johnny Football is way too small to play professional football in the USA. I had a lot of fun watching him play on NYE but he's just a tiny little shaver - smaller than Doug Flutie

Granted, Johnny is not as tall nor as heavy as many NFL quarterbacks, do consider this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Manziel

Height: 6' 1" (1.85 m)
Weight: 209 lbs (95 kg)
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doug_Flutie

Height: 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m)
Weight: 180 lb (82 kg)

I am going to save your quote as to re-post it every single time Johnny Football makes a terrific play... just hopefully not for the Jags, Browns or Seven Waiders!

Wiki says Johnny is the same size as Roman Gabriel? (6’1” 218lbs)- really? - Johnny is the same size as the girl reporter doing the post win interview. Don’t get me wrong, though - Johnny will be drafted high and he better go to someone with a great O line. I seriously hope he doesn’t go to a eam I refuse to watch (Jax, Cle, Houston)

I hate the Packers but love cheese.

Saying you hate the Packers is like saying you hate air or food or water - unless you're a soccer fan that lives in Minneapolis or Chicago.

My gut tells me that Johnny Jockstrap will go to the Texans. They do have first pick and are in dire needs of (1) a QB, (2) A Native Son Texan QB and finally (3) SOMETHING to put their dreams of an INSTANT SB on in order to SELL TICKETS!

Just my humble and honest opinion.

Or someone who lives outside Cheese Country... as in Texas or some of those other non-cheese obsessed places in the US.

Hate to repeat myself from Post #52... but it must be said again and again--

"I don't hate the Packers near as much as I did back in the 1960s... but then again, I cut the cheese a whole lot more nowadays."

Foles has had a great year for the Eagles and the Saints have been a bad road team this year but I’ll take Brees and experience in this one. Saints over Eagles.

Even though I think the 49ers are the better team, the Packers are a tough out at home, especially in the cold. Packers over 49ers.

The way the Chargers got in to the playoffs, not too many will expect them to win in Cincinnati. The Chargers will have absolutely no pressure is why I think they will pull off the upset. How many times have we seen the team with the least amount of pressure, win these playoff games. Chargers over Bengals.

Adam Teicher of ESPN has been claiming the Chiefs defense had been pretty intense to start the year that they wore themselves out down the stretch. I’m hoping the time off and getting players back from injuries will help this go round against the Colts. The Chiefs had 4 turnovers in the game with the Colts at Arrowhead. They limit the turnovers in this game and it is anyone’s ballgame. As a Chiefs fan, I feel a little better about this game than the one in Arrowhead. Plus, the Chiefs are a very good road team this year at 6-2. Here’s to hoping the playoff win drought ends. Chiefs over Colts.

Saban loses another Sugar Bowl.

Alabama was my # 1 confidence pick on ESPN “Bowl Mania”, ouch. I feel like Kevin Lanflisi’s poop shoot.

So let me get this straight, UCF beats Big 12 Champion Baylor and OU beats Bama.

So what would have happened if UCF played Bama?

And why the heck can UCF look great and UF so bad? How did this happen?

Maybe they should just stop inviting the SEC to the Sugar Bowl, since they obviously don’t bother to show up.

Don't you try that dodge... Bender tells me there was not any money in your package and the beer was flat!

However, if you will tell me where on the World Wide Web the naked photos of you with Arron Rogers are... I'll make sure they get the proper distribution!

Indeed. 3 straight losses and 4 of 5 (with 1 non-appearance). Last winner, Tebow. I guess the teams just aren’t motivated for what has become a booby prize for the championship minded SEC.

Next year it will be a playoff semi-final game, the SEC champ will appear if they are seeded 1 or 2, if 3 or 4 they’ll go to the Rose Bowl instead ( the top two seeds can’t get a “road game” in the semifinal).

3 year rotations for the 6 bowls that will host playoff semi-finals, in the other 2 years Sugar will be SEC vs. Big 12.

Beer? I sent a bottle of the finest bourbon, JR Ewings favorite!

I’m thinking that Farsworth stole your package Bendy. And probably also stole my photos of Erin Andrews that I sent you for Christmas. This is the last time I’m using Planet Express.

The Professor says he never saw your package... and I believe him.

Plus, he showed me where the photos... of you and Arron Boy are on the internet--

So, I'll expect that extra $500 and case of Jack Daniels Black Label... in tomorrow's post, eh?
