President Obama and his top Democrat on Capitol Hill appear to have reset their sights on the Republican-controlled House passing comprehensive immigration reform, instead of a step-by-step process, as lawmakers leave Washington for the Christmas holiday break.
The president on Friday appeared to urge the House to back the comprehensive, bipartisan immigration bill the Senate passed this summer -- a departure from recent comments that suggested Obama was OK with the lower chamber’s apparent piecemeal plan.

Of course they are pushing for this. Healthcare has been solved. Now it’s time to use that free healthcare, along with immigration “reform” to pack the electorate for the next couple of generations.

A few days ago Lou Dobbs had a Congressman on (can’t remember his name) and he said in no uncertain terms that amnesty will not happen.
He did not say whether it will not happen this year, or with this Congress, or this decade, however. But at least at this point the amnesty crowd can stick it.
As usual, the Do-Nothing GOP is nowhere to be found, letting the leftists control the meme and set the agenda, despite the fact that the dems are in the crapper over ObamaNoCare.

ANYTHING to distract the Republicans from heaping burning coals and gasoline on that issue that is the application of the provisions of the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”.
This is absolutely their very best campaign issue, and it would be - unfortunate - if the Republicans, one and all, did not keep hammering on it, daily and with great enthusiasm, from now to November 2014, thus putting Harry Reid out of a job, as Majority Leader of the US Senate. Then, the same drumbeat must be kept up until either the Current Occupant either agrees to dismantling “Obamacare”, or resigns the office, and his successor agrees to dismantling this monstrosity.
No other issue, not even the containment of Iran, should be on the table until the Current Regime agrees to very serious revision or removal of “Obamacare”. AS that is not going to happen anytime soon. not much else will have a chance of consideration.

The GOP agrees with Obama that the bitter clingers are the problem.

If the republicans in congress let Obama and his RINO enablers push them into passing one of those “It’s-Not-Really-Amnesty” amnesty bills they will lose their congressional majority next November.

Rushed;
unexamined;
It’s a crisis!;
vote for the bill so you can see what’s in it;
Must do something now or we’ll never have another chance!;
more unintended consequences than you could ever imagine;
the bill that will guarantee the GOP will forever get the same percentage of the hispanic vote they always get;
overwhelm the system while it’s already overwhelmed with obamacare, executive orders, and illegal changes to the law;
throw so much crap in it no one will figure it out until next winter;

Of course they are. Those bass turds are really worried about 2014. They need a huge influx of very low information voters to pull their chestnuts out of the fire. “Comprehensive immigration reform” is just what the doctor ordered. Low intelligence DemocRATS galore!
That was Lankford from OK. I saw him on a list of amnesty supporters previously. Maybe he flipped. A lot of people who use the word amnesty try to define it whether or not the illegals will officially get citizenship and whether they have to wait 10 years.
I think the most hopeful thing is the SAFE Act and the tech visas the Dems dont want in a separate bill.
Comprehensive is Dem speak for bull shi-. Everything they propose has to have that mandatory word in it.
Shows that Obama knows that its over.
He knows the House is not passing that.
Just trying to keep disappointed Hispanics on the reservation, needs them to vote in 2014.
