Washington DC area malls seem to be crowded with shoppers who benefit from government spending. Your tax dollars at work.

Our business is way off too. The worst in the 15 years that we have been in business.
Obama and his band of Marxists...suck.

This my 31st. Christmas in retail and so far it is the worst ever! Down 20% on an average year.
Can't really blame folks. Who knows what is in store next year financially.

The retailers and many consumers have gotten too impatient.
Even before Thanksgiving there are Big Sales going on, Pre-Black Friday , Post Black, Double Black, Cyber Monday, There is a day for coupon users too, I cant think of the name. That, plus the continued poor job market are the main reasons. One word explains it; dilution.

This can’t be true. I heard Bob Beckel on FOX say just the other day that the economy is “booming” right now.

That boom is a sound of a slow motion implosion.

I've sold things on-line for many years....
For the last 4-5 years my sales have declined every year.
From around July to December is my busy time...wasn't nothing for me to be shipping 10-15 packages out every week. Now it's maybe 2 or 3....
I know that's just a small deal...but I've noticed it.

I sell on line too. I used to ship out 4-5 packages a day. I sold two items since December 1st. It's time to move on to something else.

We are not shopping for Christmas. We are getting together for Christmas and we gave each of our adult children money for the trip, which is substantial because of the distances involved. There is nothing we could give that is more memorable than time spent together.

There wouldn’t be such deep discounts and so little spending if we were still in a recession... oh, wait, never mind.

Until about July or so I made some money in stock footage and photos. Since then things have been flatlined. O-nomics at work.
