They want to make sure she’s really dead
“Medical examiner dies in mysterious crash. Film at eleven.”
yeah that bullet in the head is going to be a little tricky to explain
Do they do this for non-governmental employees, or sons of martyred Presidents, in small plane crashes?
My only question is what will the federal agency created to accomplish this feat do when, ten years and 15 billion later, they finally succeed?
What evidence do we have that the plane crashed, and wasn’t scuttled?
I think that it's GREAT that the federal government has got lots of its own money laying around to spend on stuff like this, and doesn't have to tax the peasants at gunpoint to get it...
They should probably fly some TSA staff over from LAX to check the luggage as it comes off the plane.
LOL!
Holy cr@p!! I’ve ignored this story, thinking it was just another crash... seen so much of it that I finally checked it out... Fuddy!?!?! Oh wow..
Who was it that was keeping a list of all of the known Obumhead’s associates (or checking out his background) that have “died”?
The plot thickens by the week... O.O
In a different article from the Honolulu Star Adviser (http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/20131217_Makani_Kai_pilot_returns_to_cockpit_after_leaving_hospital.html):
The National Transportation Safety Board hopes to pull the plane out of the water after initially thinking it wouldn’t be recoverable.
“I’m highly motivated to recover that aircraft,” Schuman said. “We don’t know what happened. We don’t know why.”
If the plane is recovered, Makani Kai staff will remove the engine under the supervision of NTSB officials, Schuman said.
It will be placed in a box and sealed, with the NTSB likely taking it back to the factory of engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney, where engineers will take it apart to find out what happened, he said.
I thought they had stopped the little inter-island twin turbo-prop planes? I used to fly them from Honolulu to Kapalua on Maui and back and they gave out quite a ride and view. Last time, they had new 717s between islands and Kapalua was no longer an option.
