I am as upset as you are with this deal and I agree with fighting in the primary for the most Conservative candidate who can win in the general election. However, voting 3rd party will only elect Democrats (other than Lieberman, name a third party candidate who has been elected to the Senate in recent history). How will electing Democrats stop the spending?

I was hoping that the Utah GOP would do a “Bennett” on Hatch last election, but Utah is like a lot of midwestern states, although the religion is different, the resistance to change is about the same. Urine and Flake (AZ) are both Mormons FWIW.
