Primary AND look for thied-party candidates to support if they win their primaries.

Yes, we’ve come to that. Nothing else will stop the spending.

I am as upset as you are with this deal and I agree with fighting in the primary for the most Conservative candidate who can win in the general election. However, voting 3rd party will only elect Democrats (other than Lieberman, name a third party candidate who has been elected to the Senate in recent history). How will electing Democrats stop the spending?

1. Just one instance of a conservative third-party candidate throwing the election to a Dem may end the donors’ and ipso facto the establishment’s support for “punching conservatives in the nose”. They only pay for results.
1b. One win by a conservative third party candidate WILL end Republican support for spending increases.
2. Within 6 years the government may not have the credit or the political ability to increase taxation to increase spending anyway.

I’ve always opposed the idea in the past but now I think the situation merits it.
Also the business donors to the RINOs should be punished directly.

I think some in the house could go.

It would be good to see 4 or 5 RINOs go in the house.

Democrats taking over the house of reps is a fantasy.

Whether the house GOP has 225, 230 and 235 makes little diffence if RINOs keep surviving.

How will electing Rinos reduce spending. No more. I will not hold my nose because they’re (R).

And that is exactly why Rinos will continue to be rinos. Because they think the base will vote for them anyway rather than let the democrat win. However, there are enough of us former republicans coming to the realization that the only way out of this mess is to vote 3rd party. Indeed I think there are enough of us now who are willing to accept the consequences and are already voting 3rd party or sitting the elections out, that rinos (such as romney) can no longer win elections. So those of you who still are resignedly voting for the rinos and maintaining the status quo, might as well give up and start voting for third party candidates who are true conservatives, because you cannot win with your rinos any more. We, the fed up, will not join you anymore, we are not afraid of your name calling. The stakes are just too high. We know that we (conservatives) are hated by the GOPe and that we have no influence! The only way out is to take the risk and start voting for candidates who truly reflect our values and our will.
