MADD is also behind the driving the definition of DUI limits down to insanely low levels, with no scientific backing to show true impairment at those levels.

I would wager there are drunk drivers out there that have better driving skills than the average soccer mom.

Yes, the war on drunk driving has helped the left transfer power to the state that was never intended.

But if you stand up, you are pro-killing children.

It is the narcissism of a society that thinks all accidents can be avoided.

Yes MADD has turned DUI into an industry designed to build jails, fund courthouses, make attornes rich.

It’s a big racket.

If they cared about DUI, they would simply say that life taken as a result of intoxication results in class A felony and life imprisonment.

Property damage or injury life sentences.

Problem solved, no repeat offenders.

No rinky dink checkpoints. Fewer cops. No BAC analyzers sold. No interlock devices. No probation officers.

But that would leave attorneys poorer, and courthouses unfunded, and you wouldn’t need all those assistant DA’s or most of the judges. Fewer jails built and fewer drunk drivers. We can’t have that.

LOL>> I see by your handle you will appreciate this. I had a friend who is dead now that was a Huey pilot in VN. Flew in the $hit countless times. He came back and became a private pilot for a utility. Once his co-pilot crashed the ship and in the inquiry it was brought up that my friend was seen drinking right before the flight. He said sure he was. That he was technically drunk every minute he was in a helo and could still outfly most sober pilots. The co-pilot had tested cold sober. My friend got fired and started his own business but had his ticket jerked by the FAA. He continued to fly in Alaska for years drunk and never had and incident. I flew with him many times. Best pilot I have ever known.

I would bet real fiat dollars I could drive better at .20 than one of these dingbats with a cellphone.

MADD

Years ago a close friend was busted for his 2nd DUI in 3 years and the female judge, a supporter of the nazi MADD, screwed him over royally. After all was said and done, it cost him over $30k for court costs, attorneys feys, loss of license for over a year, had to sell condo and move into an apartment across the street from his employer...........It was a F'n nightmare for him.
