Misinformation? You mean the misinformation of the parents whose children are suffering under this crap? The misinformation of the teachers who teach this crap? That misinformation? Or maybe you mean the misinformation of the “architects” of common core where they admit that students will not be truly career and college ready under common core. Or maybe the recent disclosure where David Coleman himself admitted in 2011 they were not qualified to do this. Chutzpah like this belongs only in one place: Jail.

“Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon Mobil, sent a letter to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett in May with a veiled threat to move operations out of the state if Corbett does not implement the controversial Common Core standards in Pennsylvania schools.”

Companies are always complaining about the lack of educated people smart enough to work for their companies in certain positions yet this CEO is pushing for a program that is certain to dumb down the school kids?

Exxon Mobil send a lot of money to Lee College in Baytown, TX, mostly to support the process plants instrumentation courses. With the watered down politically correct curriculum of Common Core, students would be at a further disadvantage going into even a trades education in a highly technical field. So a place like Lee College winds up diverting more resources to what amounts to remedial studies operations.

Diclosure statement: I am a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas, specializing in process automation. This is a multidiscipline field requiring working knowledge in electrical (my degree), mechanical, and chemical engineering.

And no other energy company will develop the newly accessible fossil resources of the Commonwealth once you leave, so your threat is highly credible.

Can someone explain how it is in Exxon Mobil’s interest and the interest of its shareholders to be threatening governors over something called ‘Common Core’?

Let me guess, this Exxon CEO is either a NWO puke or just another snobby wealthy commie bent on the total suppression of the American people. Oh, that's right, that's the NWO’s goal to.

Wait a minute, where are all those screaming OWS members, complaining about the corporate money trying to influence our politics and our schools.

These letters read more like an attempt at extortion.

Rex Tillerson is a class-A SOB in the same order as BHO. He is THE leading example of how the cult of diversity has lethally infected corporate board rooms across the U.S. He was elected and served as the president of the Boy Scouts of America National Council from 5/23/2010 to 5/30/2012. He is currently a member of the BSA National Executive Committee serving as past president. He was heavily involved behind the scenes fighting to pass the new membership standard to include open homosexual youth in BSA. You can bet your bottom dollar he will do the same for open homseuxal adults.

“The Main Thing”

run time = 00:09:53 minutes
5/24/2013, Rex Tillerson speech after the vote to accept homosexual youth into the BSA.

“So we’ve made the decision. We’re going to change,” says Rex Tillerson. ”Now what?” Less than 24 hours after the volunteer delegates voted to change the BSA’s membership policy for youth, Tillerson addressed a large room full of Scouting volunteers and professionals at the closing general session of the BSA’s National Annual Meeting. In a powerful, heartfelt speech, Tillerson made his message clear: Change is inevitable, but “The Main Thing,” which is to serve more youth in Scouting, hasn’t changed. With that in mind, he reasoned, it’s time for all of us unite toward this common goal. Tillerson, immediate past president of the Boy Scouts of America and a 2010 Silver Buffalo recipient, knows something about making big decisions and dealing with change. When he’s not serving as a Scouting volunteer, he’s the chairman, president, and CEO of Exxon Mobil Corp., one of the world’s largest companies. In 1999, Tillerson worked for Exxon when it merged with Mobil—definitely a big change for both companies. Take 10 minutes to watch the video below and listen to Tillerson’s message. Then, share it with the members of your Scouting family.

5/29/2013 – For the 14th straight year, ExxonMobil shareholders overwhelmingly rejected by 81% a proposition to incorporate into the company’s written non-discrimination policy language explicitly prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The ExxonMobil Board of Directors, in a proxy statement, recommended that shareholders vote against the proposal: “The Board has reviewed in detail ExxonMobil’s existing global policies that prohibit all forms of discrimination, including those based on sexual orientation and gender identity, in any Company workplace, anywhere in the world. In fact, ExxonMobil’s policies go beyond the law and prohibit any form of discrimination. Based on these existing all-inclusive, zero-tolerance policies, the Board believes the proposal is unnecessary.”

9/27/2013 – Exxon Mobil Corp. announced that it would begin offering benefits to legally married same-sex couples in the U.S. for the 1st time starting next week. The company said it would recognize "all legal marriages" when it determines eligibility for health care plans for the company's 77,000 employees and retirees in the U.S. That means if a homosexual employee has been married in a state or country where homosexual marriage is legal, his or her spouse will be eligible for benefits with Exxon in the U.S. as of 10/01/2013. Exxon, which is facing a same-sex discrimination complaint in Illinois, said it was following the lead of the U.S. government.

Well, this once again disproves the Democrat charge that big business equals support for the free market.

It also exposes the stupidity of apparently smart people. Why does Rex Tillerson push for common core? He's under the delusion that common core will improve government schools. Stupidity on stilts. And why does the Exxon/Mobil CEO make common core his hill to fight on. That's Exxon's top priority? Really? What do Exxon/Mobil stockholders think?

And the idea that Exxon/Mobil is going to leave Pennsylvania and the Marcellus Basin is ludicrous.
