You may be right.

And why is this thing more common these days than back in my day?

Maybe it has to do with Liberal conditioning that people are owed everything and everyone is a victim.

Back in my day, school was a lot tougher and there was plenty of bullying from the teachers and fellow students.

And kids weren’t shooting each other? You just toughed it out or leaned to fight. People left you alone if you knew how to fight.

I have long thought that anti-gun people are that way because they project their fear of what people will do with guns on all gun owners. They are unstable and they want to hurt people.

I developed that theory after dealings with a few unstable leftist in my own family. Their tendency toward violence is hair trigger.
