“I think we have all said it. The business community has been uniformly frustrated at how strident the ideological groups have been in defiance of reason,” said David French, senior vice president of government relations of the National Retail Federation.

Some people would be much happier in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Afghanistan, or one of the other countries with strong government "leadership." By the way, Sunday is Double Double Dessert Dessert Day Day. Don't be late.

A majority of elected members on the Hill are bought and paid for.

A majority of elected members on the Hill are building their rolodex for their lobbying careers (where they pull in the big bucks).

Serve the people. Laughable. They’re in it to have power and make money.

I can't imagine Boehner keeping his job after these comments. But I have no perspective. I mean.... I'm in the reddest state in the United States. I live in maybe the reddest county in the state. And the reddest zip code in that county.

I know when I go places like Florida..... its like being in a foreign country. When the Tea Party meets in my area... we meet at the local gun range. :)

I really think the times have changed so much, and people are so different and diverse across this country.... that it has become impossible for many of the federal laws to be appropriate for all of the country. It no longer makes sense in the way it did when our founding fathers constructed this republic.

Just my opinion.

The business community and some elements of the Tea Party disagree over amnesty and open borders. A debate over a single issue — immigration. OK, I get that.

But the main mission of the Tea Party is cutting the size of government. No one is more anti-big government than the Tea Party. The supposedly Republican-oriented business groups should support a group that wants to cut government and save our future from national bankruptcy. Why are the RINO businessmen playing along with the liberal media and demonizing the Tea Party?
