PYONGYANG, North Korea (AP) — North Korea on Friday announced the execution of Kim Jong Un's uncle, calling the leader's former mentor a traitor and "worse than a dog."
The announcement came only days after Pyongyang announced through state media that Jang Song Thaek — long considered the country's No. 2 power — had been removed from all his posts because of allegations of corruption, drug use, gambling, womanizing and leading a "dissolute and depraved life."
Jang was seen as helping Kim Jong Un consolidate power after the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, two years ago. Jang was the latest and most significant in a series of personnel reshuffles that Kim has conducted in an apparent effort to bolster his power.

And some said Kim Kyong Hui is the one shadowy figure that wields the real power.
That was swift even by North Korean standards of justice.
There dear leader is much more open about removing obstacles than our dear leader.

He did complain “jokingly” about not wielding the same power as the Chinese Premier (or the General Secretary or the person with real power).
I’ll bet Obama wishes he could be the little Kim now.

SO - he lived a typical North Korean lifestyle and was killed for it...
Lil Kim wanted to (or, perhaps, felt he NEEDED to, to prevent a military coup) keep Nork’s focus on the MILITARY.
Uncle Deadguy wanted Nork to focus on its moribund ECONOMY.
What always stuns me about these wackadoo regimes is the OPEN hypocrisy (in addition to some that is hidden from the slave-citizens). For example, Lil Kim himself is the son of his father Middle Kim’s MISTRESS. The regime doesn’t even pretend otherwise.
And the mistress is half Japanese — and even worked for the Japanese in a factory during the JP occupation of Korea. Point being, if she were anyone else with that background WHO HAD NOT HAD SEX WITH MIDDLE KIM and popped out a few of his kids, she’d’ve been at the bottom tier of the untouchables in Nork society.
True. But did they harvest his organs?

So they not only killed him, but they cooked him, ate him, and finished with a food review.
I’m not so sure it was really dear leader who was primarily upset.
Maybe one of the generals got mad at his uncle jumping the queue.
The generals and central committee folks aren’t totally without power, maybe they have a lot that they don’t use unless really upset?

So... now they’re executing everyone in North Korea guilty of ‘corruption, drug use, gambling, womanizing and leading a “dissolute and depraved life”’?
Guess they’ll have to do away with the entire government, including Fearless Leader.
