A Department of Labor search shows that not only is liberal MSNBC host Ed Schultz paid for his TV show and radio show, but he is getting a hefty amount of money from labor unions. Schultz received at least $177,000 from labor unions in 2012; the average median income for an American family is around $44,000 a year.

This year alone the DOL shows Schultz has been paid $75,000 by the AFL-CIO; just yesterday AFL-CIO Richard Trumka appeared on The Ed Show. As we ring in the new year in just a couple of weeks we will keep track of how much union pay for play Schultz gets in 2014.

Now we know how horrible "reporters" like Ed Shultz is surviving even though their numbers are dwindling and their advertising dollars are disappearing.

What's been happening is they are being supported by the Unions and I suspect from folks like George Soros.

How can a Union send $$$ to a private individual without it being considered a bribe?
This would be a bribe in my company!!!!
Is this why PMSNBC reporters seem willing to trash their reputations?

I wonder what would happen if Koch Industries were slipping a few bucks under the table to right-leaning "reporters."

And I wonder how many other lefties are on the special interest dole.

Almost like the TV version of ‘Air America’... What losers.

Have you seen the Rachel Maddow column? It’s dreadful... her eye rolls and superior ‘attitude’ don’t translate to the written word... awful beyond words.

MSNBC is nothing but a political arm for the left. If it had to survive on its own, it would be long gone by now.

More investigative work needs to be done to uncover how the liberal media is funded. I doubt very seriously that many could continue operations without the underhanded/undisclosed funding that is propping them up.

That would be possible but it would still be considered “conflict of interest” in my company.
Every year I am required to complete training to avoid any possible conflict and I’m just a worker bee.

Have you seen the Rachel Maddow column?

I only have to see her name to avoid it. It's on this list of reporters never to be trusted again.

Anyone who smears, anyone who cries racist falsely, anyone who is lying clearly to my face.

Sadly, the list of mainstream reporters in this category is very long.

Good work.

No one would ever mistake that fat blowhard as a reporter.

But, but, the press isn't biased to the Left - it's a myth.

I would think so too. He’s obviously not an unbiased reporter. He’s paid to present the Leftist view by a source not connected to his business. He should be fired at once.
