So will Obama ‘stand with the Muslims’?

Tough question. It appears everyone has acknowledged the new president of CAR, a very strange little man who was trained in the USSR and has been working on getting in power for 30 years since.

The supposedly "Christian" previous president was as corrupt as they come. South Africa's ruling ANC party was so deep in the corruption in CAR that South African troops fought a major gunbattle when the capitol fell. Until then the public in South Africa didn't even know they had troops there.

It has gone from bad to worse but I don't expect the current president to last long. He disbanded the rebels who put him in power and I'll be suprised if he gets much support from the French and UN. Then again it's the French and UN. I'm betting Obama promises them millions in aid within the next few weeks.

The thought will have occurred to at least a couple of Snake Doctor E-8's and maybe a field-grade officer or two among our expedition, who will not have overlooked the irony, even as we continue to fight the raggies in The Suck.
