The distinctions between 1930’s Germany and 2010’s America are fast disappearing.
That is a GREAT response. The Politically Correct Nazis who love Muslims would probably disagree.
If he did, he doesn’t anymore.
It’s like the healthcare law. Once you find out what’s in it, you don’t like it.
Thanks for the ‘aren’t our school teachers wonderful’ ping...
Pretend you’re a Liberal Elite, read up on totalitarian societies, discover how to firmly place a boot on someone’s face...
Learning to think like other people is a good assignment, useful when examining world history to understand that everybody thinks they’re the good guys. I don’t think I’d pick Nazis though, that’s pushing the point a little too far.
No, it's not true.
Thanks for the info. If Huck could not see what’s wrong with that program without the Tea Party getting on his back, I would be disappointed and worried that he’s gone even more RINO. I would be very surprised if he seriously runs and leaves his comfy routine. I doubt that I would ‘jump off the enclosed front porch and try to play with the snakes again’ if I didn’t have to do it.

Has he changed his mind?
Twitchy has a p re: Huckabee’s backpaddling. The tweet comments are interesting.

"My statement on the Common Core has been misconstrued." - Gov. Huckabee
There is no doubt about that.
Huckabee Opening Statement - Schools - Common Core & What It Has Become!
That should clarify things for you.
Some tweeters pointed out that Common Core hasn’t ‘become’ anything it wasn’t designed to be. Others point out that Huckabee never addressed the innate progressivism of Common Core. Why did he support it to begin with? Did he not know there was nothing conservative about it?
Some ‘Tweeters?’ LOL Consider the source.
Some very good conservatives tweet. Liberals do not have a monopoly on it. Considering the source, the persons questioning Huckabee’s backpeddle are conservatives.
You didn’t address why Huckabee supported Common Core in the first place. Also, why did Huckabee leave progressivism out of his discussion of what Common Core has ‘become’? It was never designed to be neutral or conservative; it was progressive from its inception.
You obviously didn't watch the video I linked to.
Why did he support it to begin with?
He explained that extensively in the video I linked to.
Did he not know there was nothing conservative about it?
What a load of horse crap. What is anti-conservative about individual states setting standards for math and English.
So Common Core started out as a good thing, and became progressive somewhere along the way?
Try listening to what he said in the video and you won’t have to ask me to answer questions already answered. He was very clear about all of those things.
I can’t bear to listen to the man. It brings to mind the horror story of how his son tortured a wretched, homeless dog to death. The son should have been prosecuted, but Huckabee got him off the hook. He said hanging the dog loosely by the neck & pelting it w rocks until it finally died was his son’s way of “putting it down”.
Go bother somebody else with your adolescent obsessions, kid.
That is a complete misrepresentation of what I wrote. Why wd you feel the need to misrepresent me to such a degree?
