“It’s been ten years since Wallace “took the anchor chair”

Time to go

Amen. Wish we could figure out a way to get Tony Snow back. But is most happy being the lead anchor on the local station up in Heaven. God bless him. He is so missed by many of us here on FR.

The irony of it all is that zero is destroying the very country that he expects to pay the bills for his communist dream.

In the short run it doesn't seem to matter. Just keep pressing the "Enter" button over there at the FED - don't look for any "tapering" soon. With the DJIA setting new highs routinely, joe-six pack public will keep spending for Christmas whether they have cash or not. The public is so gullible when listening to the 6pm news or reading a flash on their smart phone. In some ways reminds me of the 1920s with shoe shine guys buying stock on margin.

David Horowitz

A great thinker and a FOUNTAIN of information about today’s Left and how they rose to power. I know he won’t, but I hope he lives forever. I can’t imagine our movement without him.

My fav heard often on FNC is Dr. Ben Carson. He was on last night with Judge Janine Pirro pondering why zero decided to destroy a once great health care system where 85% had insurance to cover the other 15%.

Let’s not forget, when the 35 state-operated high risk pools fold up next month, people will begin dying prematurely for want of the specialists no longer allowed to treat them by Stalin. Um, Obama.

Time to dust off Cancer Ward by Solzenhitsyn.

I don't know about that, Tom. Well paid athletes are really a very small group. I would say their numbers, for all athletes, doesn't add up to more than a few thousand people at most.

I mean, if you look at the rosters, each team in football can have, what 62 players? And most of those will get much lower salaries than the top quarterbacks and wide receivers. Same for baseball and basketball. Not many minorities in ice hockey! Soccer doesn't pay nearly as well as football, baseball and basketball.

Actually, I would think the millionaires in this group probably come to not more than a thousand, probably closer to 500 or so.

...it hurts us politically...

The true essence of a Washington, DC/democrat vote for or against anything.

Politics. That's what it's all about. Rah, Rah, go dems! Beat Republicans! Rah, Rah!

Amazingly, the MSM allows Obama to campaign against the economy of his own creation.

Limbaugh Theorem - Obama is just a bystander, therefore constantly campaigning like he did in 2007-08. In Rush's own words........Obama never governing, always campaigning, always appearing as the outsider,

Zeke thinks the young people will sign up. (delusional)

Exactly. Zeke is in the mold of the Soviet central planners who thought that putting something down in writing automatically means that it will work in the real world. He ignores human behavior or thinks that it can be modified to fit the interests of the State.

Obamacare is a Rube Goldberg system of providing health insurance coverage. 2700 pages written by interest groups and "intellectuals" that is doomed to failure. Unfortunately, Obama and the Dems are so invested in making it a success, they will do whatever is necessary to keep it alive, even if it is unconstitutional.

It’s true, but all democrats “govern” this way, that is, their method is a perpetual campaign against the Republicans which serves to keep the low information voters riled up and ready to vote dem. Add the driveby and the entertainment (entertain the masses) media 24/7 propaganda, and it’s any wonder that an R gets elected.

I remember Clinton didn’t do anything without his Steponallofus/Carville/Begala focus group first telling them which way to go. Government by finger in the air... Government by personal destruction. Government by perpetual campaigning.

It’s no way to govern at all. It gives us things like 10,000 page health care laws and last minute graft and sweetheart deals to politicians on their way out the door, like in the movie Lincoln.

I’m not gonna let the Republicans off the hook, either. Bush tried this crap with regard to the Hispanics and amnesty. In my not so humble opinion, they tried that (Bush, McCain, Graham) because they’re misguided into thinking that will give them a new pool of voters when we all know it will immediately become a dem voting block. They also know big business likes the cheap workers, especially when natural born Americans get uppity and expect a decent wage.

But if they (Bush admin) were actually trying to govern, they would’ve built a wall right after 9-11. A wall twenty feet high with razor wire and broken glass on top with robotic laser beams tracking every object approaching it.

Maya Angelou! I once witnessed a petite, flaming gay black guy mimic Ms. Angelou reciting poetry. He detested her pretentious demeanor.

Laughed until my sides ached.

Unfortunately, if we keep ignoring the politial aspects of electing candidates we windup with more and more obamaas and fewer Reagans. Might as well face up to reality sooner or sooner.

It is all Mandela, all the time. We can expect that to be the case for the next 7 to 10 days. The obvious connection is that Obama and Mandela are the same. Just as Mandela was South Africa's first black President, Obama is America's first black President. They are both great men who triumphed over a corrupt political system.

The MSM will use the Mandela story as an allegory to Obama's life story. Obama will benefit from white guilt again as he embraces his blackness. Obama's tribute at Mandela's funeral will be all about him. And it will distract from Obamacare. The figures for November's enrollment will be released at the same time Obama is in South Africa attending the funeral. Guess what will receive the most coverage.

I already can see the narrative: Obama is the "Comeback Kid," as the Obamacare PR campaign goes into hyper-drive.

I once saw a Maya Angelou! book on the Here, Read This Book table at the library. You know, the library? The place where people go to surf the Internet? Anywho, the book was full of letters to her daughter. I scanned the book and found no wisdom in it. At all. So I still don’t know how the caged bird got her groove back.
