Back in the 90’s when I was in the Pentagon working the SA desk, met a group of senior SA Army, Air Force and Medical corps officers.

Each senior officer was White and being shadowed by their Black replacement. Private talks with the being-ousted senior leaders broke my heart. Everyone was depressed that their replacements had no education and were, to a man, communist.

Of particular note was the outgoing commander of the medical corps. His replacement had no medical training and never served in a leadership position — heck, he had never seen a doctor before and I could see the medical crony was missing at least half his teeth, and I could smell him, too. Here a soon-to-be new medical corps commander had no clue about personal hygiene and he was about to take over the medical corps.

They all were appalled these cronies were being placed without any regard to capability.
