Paul Ryan Most 'Open Borders Person in Congress(backstabber alert)'
Brietbart ^ | 6 Dec 2013 | Mathew Boyle

Posted on 12/06/2013 8:34:38 AM PST by amnestynone

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) executive director Mark Krikorian said on Thursday that House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) is by far the most open borders-minded member of the U.S. Congress—even more so than Democrats like Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), who is aggressively and publicly calling for President Barack Obama to halt deportations of illegal aliens. "Paul Ryan is probably the most ideologically committed open-borders person in Congress. I would say even more than the Democrats,” Krikorian said in an interview with American Family Radio’s Sandy Rios, One News Now reports. One News Now’s Chad Groening added that Krikorian explained that “Ryan's support is not based on money but is a ‘quasi-religious principle’ that limiting the number of people allowed into the United States is wrong.” “Even though Krikorian believes Republicans like Boehner and Ryan would like to pass an amnesty bill, he still doesn't think they'll be able to get it done this year,” Groening wrote. In response to Krikorian's comments, Ryan's office provided Breitbart News with a series of pro-border security statements he released on his website earlier this year. "We need to secure the border," Ryan said in one of them. "We are in an age of national-security threats of transnational terrorism. We have drug cartels that are trying to ship drugs in to pollute the lives of our children. We need to secure the border." According to a July report from the Associated Press’ Donna Cassata titled “Dems pin immigration hopes on GOP's Ryan,” Democrats from President Obama to Gutierrez noted they were relying on Ryan to fulfill their amnesty agenda.

We need to respond to him.It just might be best to have a Dem in this seat if we can't primary him. He and Aunt Lindsey should be the top targets next year.

What the hell happened to this guy? I understand a more moderate position on this issue, but he seems to be locked in on the left’s position. How did the son of right-wing think tanks evolve into this horrendous position? Money? Bad advisers?

Paul Ryan is a Dem on this issue as on others. But of course, another Dem to replace him is going from bad to worse.

And to think this is what the RINOs almost got away with passing off as a conservative. Those conservatives who doubted Romney enough not to vote for him were on to something.

HAHA, I remember when he was considered the Braveheart liberal slayer here by what seemed like most.

Remember his magical budget figures?

balance the budget in 10 years with tax cuts?

Meet the real Paul Ryan looking at 2016

Problem is, you get a Dem in that seat and that’s even harder to switch for a conservative. Doesn’t mean you don’t try for the conservative in the first place, of course; but you never advocate for the Dem.

This is Cato Institute thinking. National borders are but a mere restraint on labor and capital. Bleech!

Everything we have rides on stopping amnesty. Taking out some of its most influential, treasonous and dangerous sponsors on our side would help to keep our people in place and if we can do that we can save ourselves(maybe).

After watching him intentionally take a fall in the debate against Joe Biden, this traitorous toad is dead to me.

I’ll defend Ryan on a lot of things, including his debate. He did relatively well, other than being too passive. He could have struck a major blow on Biden and Obama by responding forcibly to Biden’s behavior. He did okay overall, and polling was favorable. Frankly if Biden hadn’t acted so boorish he probably would have polled ahead, but that was such a turn-off. Ryan was good, not great, and clearly tried to come across as the rational, nice guy. That can only get you so far in a street fight with Obama/Biden, though.

Gets under my skin more about Ryan than even Romney. Because Ryan was touted and “sold” as the conservative counterbalance to Romney on the 2012 ticket. Yet, within months after the election, Ryan is standing on stage with Guiterrez pushing amnesty and making those radio-commercials with Rubio, and coming out supporting gay adoptions.

Can’t even describe the levels of distrust I feel towards the GOP because of things like this. I was already disgusted with the whole Party, which I exclusively supported my entire voting life, after the vile backstabbing of Palin and the tea-party. But the blatant, in-your-face betrayals of Ryan and Rubio were the final straw.

True, they'll openly tell you they want socialism. A RINO on the other hand won't tell you until it's too late.
