The Muslim Seleka rebels in CAR are supported by the governments of Chad and Sudan, thus they have much better arms than the local Christians as well as foreign fighters in their ranks. On one hand I want the French to hurry up and insert the 1,000 extra troops they've promised to stabalize the country. On the other hand any Western nation that would send troops into a situation like this one is begging to be part of a disaster.

I’m of the mind that anywhere this happens (Muslims threatening Christians) we send in a quick team to completely kill and annhilate the Muslims, then quickly leave. They come back, we go back.

Just make it that clear. Perhaps after many times they will put two and two together that the helpless Christians in these villages have a consistent guardian angle.
