Great, the AIDS virus in the public blood suppy, what could go wrong?
I donate three times a year.
I’d have to rethink this decision if the fed opens the doors to those people.
But what about monkey humpers? And people who lick trash cans?
In the very early days of the AIDS pandemic in the homosexual community, it was called the “gay cancer”, because “gay” men were dying of illnesses due to depressed immune systems, but nobody at first knew what the cause was.
The ban on gay donations of blood made sense based on that.
Gay men especially are prone to all sorts of health problems, due to their voluntary sex activities. There could be other diseases similar to AIDS out there, which have not been detected yet.
I know we’re supposed to be liberal and lift the ban on donations. How about a compromise? A separate but equal blood bank, in which all donors are gay men. Then other gay men can get their blood transfusions from the gay themed blood bank.

They have successfully lobbied, cajoled and tortured the medical community to declare that homosexuality is not perversion, is not a disease, and is not a mental disorder.
So, they must corrupt the blood supply, too. You will next see that when they succeed in removing the ban, that each gay blood sample will not have to undergo AIDS/HIV testing. It's coming, the government knows it, you know it, Gaffer knows it (ala Bob Dole), and the American people know it.
How about a gay donation only blood supply - to be used exclusively for members of the AMA, CDC, HHS, and Congress, who are pushing for this.
We’ll try it for ten years, and evaluate the results.
If you spent too much time in Europe during the 80s you can’t give blood, because of mad cow disease.
Oh, the stigma.
Of course you can’t test for mad cow prions as you can for HIV.
I don’t mind if the blood I donate goes to a man who has had sex with men, or someone who has abused IV drugs. I just don’t want to get any blood from them.
Why would this make you rethink donating blood? It might put blood recipients at risk, but not other donors.
And then, what the homosexual community has been clamoring for, may possibly come true, everyone WILL be susceptible to HIV, and then their God (aka The Government) will be forced to spend huge sums to correct what is, at its roots, a behavioral deficiency.
Why does the "AIDS!" song from "Team America" come to mind when I think of this?

Why are they so anxious to donate blood - can it be that they want to infect people with HIV?
Neither are Ryan White, Elizabeth Glazer, Tom Fogerty or Howard Jarvis.
Not happy to infect themselves they now want the rest of the country to get infected. How nice of them!
I guess equality to them means we all must suffer with them.

WHY is it so important that they donate?
There will be hell to pay if some innocent person gets AIDS from a blood transfusion if the ban is lifted. And the people front and center on the effort to lift the ban will be the first to explain themselves.
The ban was and is a reasonable precaution. Should it be lifted, our blood banks cannot be considered safe.
Exactly my thoughts. Let those who think it is just fine for MSM’s to donate blood be the receivers of their donations. I am willing to bet the salary and benefits of Senators that they’d run like hell from this and get family/friend donations if needed!!
When liberals say conservatives cannot articulate/discuss two issues at any time, liberals cannot even articulate/discuss ONE ever as their pockets are lined with evil getting its way.
