And these people will decide if your medical care is covered or not.
If they remember to decide.
Stuck on stupid. How could the people responsible for concocting such a shambles of a law possibly supervise the creation of a functioning website?
Stupid is as stupid does.
The changes made parses out your personal information and the rest are dummy fields. Once your informatio is in, someone will contact you and let you know what the fine will be.
This site serves no other purpose other than to get personal information.
It’s not the “website” that is the actual problem.
For me to obtain the same coverage I have today with my employer, I will have to spend 212% more a month on “healthcare”, that does not include the deductibles that I have to pony up first before I can even access health “insurance”. This thing is going to break America’s back once the employer mandate is put into place. People have no clue how bleak things are going to be in a few short years here in the U.S. and once our “buying power” is greatly diminished, that trickles out to the rest of the world’s economies and they start stumbling and faltering. It is going to be very ugly for the next couple decades unless this thing is killed and killed fast.
As Palin said, who cares about the da** website.
I keep getting confused with the date. They’re talking about this Nov 30th deadline like it’s not today.
As if it matters. No one cares if the website ever “works”. Its not selling anything people want.
They can fix the website, they can give delays, the bottom line is that America does not want a Marxist healthcare system. Actually I stand corrected—the parasites of this nation fully want it as they do not contribute.
There are many problems with healthcare. I’ll stand as an expert on the matter as I was a former provider. Thirteen years. What should have happened was the elimination of monopolies: insurance companies AND the clinics/ hospitals. But what should also happen is everyone pays. And by the way, the Medicaid “poor” you champion are the largest abusers of the system. I can count the compliant Medicaid patients on one hand in thirteen years. This is not an exaggeration. For those that want to argue that point, until you put in thirteen years you have not an opinion.
The answer is to reduce the ridiculous costs of say an overnight stay in a hospital or the like. There are emerging fee for service clinics that cost 80% less than what is the norm as the bureaucracy is eliminated. That means you have to pay for the service. Everyone. And there are charity organizations as well.
But as I have written extensively now as a fiction writer the answer is not Marxism. The answer to a corrupt system is not a more corrupt system of social imprisonment. Worked real well with serfdom in 1917 Russia didn’t it? One man pays so another pays less or not at all. If this continues my fiction will become a reality in our certain collapse.
Charles Hurst. Author of THE SECOND FALL. An offbeat story of Armageddon. And creator of THE RUNNINGWOLF EZINE. A true conservative’s weekly.
I guess all the MSM, including the WSJ got their marching orders from Obama — focus on the website, which will get fixed to some extent sooner or later, instead of the disaster of Obamacare itself which is NOT fixable...
Great post. Unfortunately, mcconnellcare will not die quickly if at all. The gop wing of the uniparty is almost as invested in it as the ‘rat wing is.
It’ll be interesting to see how the economic collapse plays out. Be sure to be prepared: the moochelle starvation diet will really suck if you aren’t.
It will not be killed. And America under Obama was supposed to be destroyed; it is already doomed to collapse. Obamacare merely is the Knockout Punch, to coin a phrase in synergy with the game sweeping the nation.
Why is congress not investigating who got paid to build this site and who wrote the check? I’ll answer that myself. NSA blackmail.
Does anyone know if you have to sign up before you can see which plans would include your doctor?
