Sure seems that way.
Most of the time people would be hard pressed to pick out the sexual preference of their waiter/ress.
Though there are some with mile wide chips on their shoulders and bad attitudes to match.
And they go light years out of their way to tell everyone they can what they prefer.
I do try to avoid them.
That was due to excessive munching more than anything else.
Cardholder should stop the charge thru the charge card company...indicate there could be fraud involved.
Then the restaurant would have to produce the “merchant copy” receipt...or lose the sale.
Seriously, who does this?
I really am starting to fear for our country, the people in it are so depraved they make up hateful things that “happened” to them.
Haven’t we all had enough hateful thing ACTUALLY happen to us?
I know I’d had my fill by 3rd grade.
And, btw, who would let a person serve them in a restaurant and then not leave a tip because they disapproved of that person? It doesn’t make sense. You’re giving the tip for the service rendered, it’s not a vote of confidence in that waitress’s entire life.
I think everyone knows this.

If you had seen “her” pic on an earlier thread, you’d have no doubt about her sexual preferences.
Hmmm...the restaurant says they have the receipt....if that receipt doesn’t match what the waitress says, it seems like she would be fired already.
I have to wonder if this time it may be a case of someone at the restaurant, perhaps management, perhaps a cashier, ripping off the waitresses?
I guess we’ll find out.
It won't bother them, believe me.
They'll rationalize it by telling themselves she probably lost a ton of tips in the past but never reported it so she deserves it anyway, or she experiences harassment in many different ways in this homophopic society of ours, so she deserves it anyway...

The not yet ex and I were returning from a weekend getaway and stopped to eat on Fisherman's Wharf.
After we left the restaurant she asks how I liked it, I tell her the food was great, the scenery was interesting the service was wonderful, but the waiter was a little gay for my tastes.
My ever-so-liberal soon to be ex explodes! How dare you assume the waiter is gay, just because we're in San Fransisco! I didn't think he was gay!!!
I blandly told her that was because he wasn't rubbing his thigh on her back.
The rest of the trip was accomplished in blessed silence...
Even if shown as a hoax, her supporters will celebrate her. Here's the question: if this kind of "hate" was so commonplace, would it even be newsworthy? The fact that they make this stuff up is because it just doesn't happen in real life. Nobody gives a crap who or what you sleep with in private.
i looked up her picture and you're right. somehow the headline attached to the story doesn't fit, so to speak.

Sue this fraud for everything she has, then (metaphorically) stick her head on a stick at the outskirts of town to warn the next guy to never pull this crap again.
Apparently the waitress is one Dayna Morales.
But with her behavior, it might as well be Tawana..
Used to be that we could expect basic truth and reality to prevail on any average day. People were too busy going about their lives working, paying bills, and mowing their lawns to be of any trouble, and most didn't have any interest or incentive for stirring up hate and hell.
Nowadays it's a daily challenge to out maneuver the malcontents, brazen liars, false accusers and drama queens. Instead of truth and reality being the default, it's now a world filled with deceit, craft and subterfuge on every level. Miscreants have way too much time on their hands. Lawlessness and corruption are the modern keys to "success".
On one hand the media is clearly running a demoralization campaign to exaggerate the negatives and to create as much sense futility as possible, but on the other hand there is the real world interaction with lying, sociopathic nutjobs who appear to have nothing more "productive" to do with their lives than to make sh*t up and then demand sympathy and attention.
what bothered me the most was the lesbo saying these folks were teaching their children that gays were pervs...imagine that...they solicit our kids and we’re wrong.
This relates to my theory of how agricultural advancement has ruined everything.
Let’s face it, up until very, very recently in human history (even after the industrial revolution) a huge share of human labor was spent endeavoring to grow food.
So, I’m sorry about how bad this sounds, but now we live in a world (at least here in the first world as my kid says) which is populated by people who are best suited to be farm laborers yet are generally required to do something else. And they are BAD AT IT.
Now, perhaps if we had a functioning public education system they might acquire the skills to function in our more high tech intellectually demanding society, but we don’t.
This lack of physical labor is also the primary cause of the “obesity epidemic” and one would think that a bunch of scientists could figure that out. But those scientists might be better off plowing the fields, imho.
