When Mitch McConnell wants to destroy you, you'll know it.
The Senate minority leader has declared war against the Senate Conservatives Fund, an outside group supporting his Republican primary opponent, Matt Bevin. But rather than moving on and focusing on his Democratic opponent, McConnell and his allies have trained their attacks on SCF and its allieswith no apparent endgame in sight.
The latest salvo came Monday, when National Review published a story that detailed the Kentucky senator's deep displeasure with Nebraska GOP candidate Ben Sasse for being endorsed by the conservative group. McConnell let him know about it during a one-on-one meeting earlier this month.
"As he walked out of the room, Sasse turned to [McConnell adviser Josh] Holmes'That didn't go well!' " wrote NR's Jonathan Strong.
The report also revealed that pressure from "McConnell allies" forced SCF's bookkeeper into leaving the group last week.
Right now, McConnell is fighting a three-front war: Bevin, Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes, and the outside conservative group. At times, his campaign seems most focused on the latter:

McConnell has shown himself to be less than worthless.

This is really good! Meanwhile, Bevin is eating McConnell’s lunch!
About SCF
The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) is a grassroots organization that helps elect true conservatives to the U.S. Senate. SCF is not affiliated with the Republican Party or any of its campaign committees. We only support conservative candidates who put principle ahead of party.

SCF seeks to bring bold conservative leadership to Washington by supporting candidates who have the courage to fight for the timeless conservative principles of limited government, strong national defense, and traditional family values.
Our goal is to enact policies that will restore America’s greatness. Therefore, we only support candidates who have the courage to:
Stop Spending
Congress must be forced to cut spending. SCF candidates support a constitutional amendment to balance the federal budget without raising taxes.
Repeal ObamaCare
President Obama’s health care takeover is set to destroy American medicine and bankrupt our country. SCF candidates support the full repeal of this dangerous law.
Enforce Immigration
The federal government has failed to enforce our nation’s immigration laws. SCF candidates support real border enforcement and oppose amnesty.
Defend the 2nd Amendment
The 2nd Amendment protects our freedom to keep and bear arms. SCF candidates oppose all efforts to eliminate or restrict this right.
Ban Bailouts
Bailouts force taxpayers to reward failure and punish success. SCF candidates oppose bailouts and believe corporations should be forced to compete.
End Earmarks
Congressional earmarks are a gateway drug to higher spending. SCF candidates support a permanent ban on earmarks to break Washington’s addiction to pork.
Protect Life
Americans should not be forced to fund activities they find morally objectionable. SCF candidates oppose taxpayer funding for abortion.
SCF helps candidates by raising support from thousands of freedom-loving Americans across the country, and by running hard-hitting radio and television ads.
SCF members live in every state and come from all walks of life. They love America and don’t want to see liberal policies destroy it. SCF members know that change in Washington means changing the people we send there, and they know that building a conservative majority in the U.S. Senate is critical to saving our country.
McCain and Romney fought conservative challengers for the nomination three times harder than fighting Obama.
Hey! here's an idea! Let's do the same thng over and over and get different results.
Minority "Leader?". Yeah. Right.
if I had money to give I doubt I would give to people like McConnell or to PACS, but right now I think I would be tempted to donate to the SCF
His second wife, whom he married in 1993, is Elaine Chao, the former Secretary of Labor under George W. Bush (the first Asian American woman to serve in the Cabinet).
Senator McConnell’s personal fortune was between $9,839,049 to $44,587,000 in 2010 and he was ranked as the 10th wealthiest member of the U.S. Senate.
It's very telling that he only bares his fangs at conservatives and not the opposition across the aisle.
What the heck??
thanks!
No wonder. McConnell doesn’t align well to any of these goals.
yeah. would like to hear more about this.
I wish he fought the Rats as hard as he fights the Tea Partiers....f’in POS
FUMMc.
From 2003 to 2008, among McConnell’s top 20 donors have been 5 financial/investment firms: UBS, FMR Corporation (Fidelity Investments), Citigroup, Bank of New York and Merrill Lynch.
In April 2010, while Congress was considering financial reform legislation, a reporter asked McConnell if he was “doing the bidding of the large banks.” McConnell has received more money in donations from the “Finance, Insurance and Real Estate” sector than any other sector according to the Center for Responsive Politics. McConnell responded “I’d say that that’s inaccurate.
He is also the longest serving U.S. Senator in Kentucky history. Currently he is the 8th most-senior Senator, as well as the 4th most senior Republican member.
Sorry folks, but all of this reminds me of the Democrats in the 1980s. They were big losers because they were fighting among themselves.
The Talking Heads even had a song about it “The Democratic Circus”...
Found out this morning
There’s a circus coming to town
They drive in Cadillacs
Using walkie-talkies, and the Secret Service
Their big top
Imitation of life
And all the flags and microphones
We have to cover our eyes
We play the sideshows
And we like the tunnel of love
And when we ride the ferris wheel
We’re little children again
And when they’re asking for volunteers
We’ll be the first ones aboard
And when the ringmaster calls our names
We’ll be the first ones to go ... to sleep
Stealing all our dreams
Dreams for sale
They sell ‘em back to you
On with the show
Start the parade
We sand along
Sweep us away
It’s political party time
Going down, going down
And the celebrities all come out
Coming down, coming down, coming...
The sun is going down
And the dogs are starting to howl
We stay out after dark
Eating cotton candy
And the music’s playing...
How we all laughed!
We split our sides
The cameras flashed
We almost died!
The rain’s gonna pour on down, falling out of the sky
Coming down, coming down
And the celebrities all run out, and the rain’s
Coming down, coming down
Gonna rain,
Gonna rain, gonna rain
Gonna rain, gonna rain,
Rain, rain
Rain, rain
And now I wonder who’s boss
And who he’s leavin’ behind?
This wasn’t about America, it was about ONE particular party in American politics...the Democrats. Well, this is applicable to the Republicans today.
McConnell can act just like a DemonRat because he IS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guy is in a panic and thinks he’s acting tough......
The Empire Strikes Back.
It will be a long battle, and the GOPe has the bulk of the power.
Voting out all incumbents is the way forward.
Mitch McConnell can go to...well, anywhere but back to the Senate. Bite me, Mitch.
