This is different. This is the fruit of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan -- all the people who have been telling black people for DECADES that the reason why they live such crappy lives, is because "The White Man be keepin' you DOWN".
So the black teens look at their lives, see they are going nowhere, and it's all the collective fault of white people.
The knockout "game" is not rowdy youth -- it is angry blacks seeking retribution against the whole of the white race.

It was around in the 90s in NYC, only the blacks doing it were then calling it “Herbing.” The “Herb” being a white, senior male...preferably wearing glasses.
Juicy details? The truth.
If whites were randomly attacking blacks in the same fashion the ‘juicy details’ would have been on the front page of every newspaper in the country.

If the poor 78-year-old woman had defended herself and shot back at him, his mother and her friends would have been out on the streets, holding hands, and swaying while singing "we shall overcome". Never would it cross her mind that she had utterly failed as a parent and should actually hide from the public in shame at how her son has turned out. Beating an elderly woman, is what a coward, fool, and wicked individual would do. Especially doing it for bragging rights.
Even worse are the fools who march to protest when such behavior has consequences.

The legends will be a mystery seated randomly in the audience of mostly white folks.

I had to put my hand on my revolver once. I didn’t have to pull it but the act did not go unnoticed by the the three thugs that were preparing to rob me as I pumped gas into my truck. One looked at another and shook his head and they all slunk back into the shadows, including the one standing in the middle of the road acting as a lookout. This was wise on their part as the plan I was preparing to execute involved gasoline and muzzle flash.
By the time you think you need to cross the street, the predators have already ID’ed you and figured out counters to any effort at evasion. You are the gazelle and they are the hyenas.
If you have to cross, use that time wisely by drawing your weapon, taking it off safe, putting a round in the chamber, knowing you are now dealing in quarter to half-second intervals. You should be thinking in terms of target analysis, first salvo being one each to attackers, followed by second shot at misses and those not slowed down by the first round.
