“Sympathy for the Devil” was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, though the song was largely a Jagger composition.

Great post. Thanks for the info.
If you ever get to go to that 6th Floor Museum and look out that window, you will realize he didn't need to be a great shooter to pull it off. Just average was more than good enough.
Bump
**But particularly interesting was how Reagan unflinchingly pointed a finger of blame in the direction of Moscow. Reagan noted that Kennedys killer, Sirhan Sirhan, a Palestinian Arab and also a communist, had shot Kennedy because of his support of Israel during the Six Day War that had occurred exactly one year earlier. On that, we now know beyond dispute what Reagan knew then: That war had been shamelessly provoked by the Kremlin. **
BTTT and needs to get to the other threads on this subject.
Apparently Oswald had made a technical mistake in his attempt to renounce US citizenship.
Also note that Kennedy was wearing a back brace, and so, after being hit by the first shot he could not slump down, making for a more difficult follow up shot. He had to remain upright, and the third shot got his head.
Yes, I noticed that while looking back to find the info about it.
Since I was listening to BS&T years before I ever heard of the Rolling Stones, I guess I assumed that BS&T authored the song.
My mistake. Apparently Jagger and Richards wrote the song in 1968, and BS&T performed the song and put it on their album in 1970.
I apologize for my comment that the Stones didn’t write the song, or perform it first.
They did in 1968 and BS&T performed it in 1970.
His appearance actually screwed-up our trip to Disneyland with our out-of-state relatives. You couldn’t get on any rides for several hours and the press, just as they do today, shoved all the non-celebrities out of the way. Having been a bodyguard and bouncer later in life, I understand the security situation much more now than I did as an eight-year-old.
MAN I didn’t know that Bobby Kennedy want NBC drop GE theatre because Reagan hosting wow
Seem Ronnie have whatever attitude
MY father saw Ronald Reagan at Dodger stadium year after he was out of office Ronnie was sitting there in good seats near Dodger dugout
No worries - great lyrics, no matter who wrote them!
Note: this topic is from 11/23/2013.A re-ping. Thanks Kaslin.
