FORMER LA GOP CHAIR SUPPORTS OBAMA?
The Dead Pelican ^ | 22 Nov 13 | Unattributed

Posted on 11/22/2013 7:19:16 AM PST by LSUfan

Former Louisiana GOP chair and current GOP Parish President Pat Brister recently appeared at a fund raiser for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, THE DEAD PELICAN has learned.

THE DEAD PELICAN has obtained a photo of Brister at the event, along with a caption reading "GOP Parish President Pat Brister is Singing Mary Landrieu's praises for her work for Louisiana families."

Landrieu has come under fire recently for her unflinching support of the disastrous Obmacare proposal, a measure which has already caused millions of Americans to lose their health private care plans.

Brister's staunch support for Mary (an Obama champion) leads one to ask: "Does Brister also support Obama?"

Republican party "big wigs" supporting Mary Landrieu is nothing new.

Her 2008 victory was made possible by support from Republican elected officials such as St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain and Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Norman. At the time, the St. Tammany Republican executive committee issued a resolution criticising seven Republican elected officials who supported Landrieu.

If Mary Landrieu wins re-election in 2014, she can thank Republican officials who claim to be rabidly anti-Obama!

When will Republicans stop donating to these Republicans? It’s really time to purge the ranks or simply move on.

No shock...something is ROTTEN in Louisiana. First political neophyte (and dangerously naive) Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson endorsed (and got elected) the RINO Vance McAllister for Congress. McAllister was also backed by some bigtime Democrat donors. Now this crap. WTF is going on down there?

Liberals long ago have infiltrated public schools, the judiciary, Hollywood, orthodox christian churches, even the scouts - any institution where they could mold public opinion while suppressing dissent.

Why wouldn't they also do the same to the republican party?

Proving yet again that voting for "Republicans" never has been (in my lifetime) and never will be the answer.

We need to vote for "conservatives" like Palin, Paul, Ryan and Cruz. Republicans will be the death of America, just a bit slower and more lingering a death than the Democrats would push for.

TEA Party has to grow up and be a real political party.

Or else...

Phil Robertson supports amnesty. That would explain his supporting a RINO.

Aren’t most LA politicians famous for “selling out”?

Pretty much, as originally written, but don't kid yourself, the latter is true too.

Umm... Rand Paul and Paul Ryan are not conservatives....both support Illegal Alien Amnesty....both support Liberal RINO candidates...

A big part of the problem is that folks do not know what a REAL CONSERVATIVE is

Yup, not surprised. Pat Brister was a failure as the head of the LA GOP.

During her tenure the GOP was having its teeth kicked in across the state. Villere’s been better but he’s still a “company” man so to speak and tries to tell the Louisiana Republicans what they want. He got knocked around a bit and pulled a lot of underhanded stuff to keep the party under his control in Louisiana despite the Paul supporters having beaten him at the box per the rules.

Really, the LA GOP is a problem. Louisiana has some wonderful conservatives though some of the worst two-faced Republican party leaders you’ve ever seen.
