If you live in Indiana and had your health insurance plan canceled because of new federal health care requirements, the state's insurance commissioner says your policy will remain canceled.

Insurance Commissioner Steven Robertson will not go along with a request from President Obama to ask insurance companies to reinstate canceled policies for one year. Obama announced the request last week after facing heavy criticism from both political parties over what appeared to be his broken promise that the Affordable Care Act would allow people to keep their health plans if they wanted.

He likes them very much, because now everything in Indiana is the commissioner’s fault.
Indiana doesn’t have much experience violating federal law, while Obama does.
He can break it if he wants. It hasn’t bothered him to do so in the past.
The Commissioner is on solid legal footing here, not to mention the logistical problems to comply with this 11th hour change.
So I assume you mean politically. Possible, but it looks like obama’s teflon is wearing awfully thin to me. Either way we’ll find out soon enough.
It would seem to me that Obama is left holding the bag for the lost policies. Works for me.
