We know what George Washington did when faced with insurrection. It looks a lot like what Lincoln did in the early stages of his insurrection.
You should have used “too” instead of “to”.
Washingtonian = Washington. Not that I give crap what you think of me but others who may be new to this thread might need to know I have had to much coffee.
Bump.
That you have to lie showed that your position is in error. The big question is: Why do you have a psychological need to chose and support erroneous positions?
We know that General Thomas did not defect.
What Washington would do in 1860 we can never know this side of the Ouija board.
We do know what General Fuss and Feathers Winfield Scott did.
We know what General Thomas did.
We know what Washington did. Washington accepted command of the Continental Army, fighting for the union of the colonies rather than retain some position in the Virginia militia.
#28 is your admission that you lost the argument and have nothing left (not that you brought much to begin with).
I expect General Washington would have remained with the Union that he had done so much to create, and supported the experiment in self government that he had again, done so much to create, suppressing the insurrection as he had done before.
Bump.
Laughable. Shows a clear misunderstanding of Virginians, Washington the man, and history. The thought of FedGov going to war to keep Virginia IN the USA would have been laughed at.
