Pelosi: Democrats 'stand tall in support' of Obamacare

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says House Democrats running in 2014 will embrace the Affordable Care Act in their re-election campaigns.
Appearing Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the California Democrat declined to say whether the issue would help Democrats win a House majority but said there'll be no abandoning health care as a campaign issue.
“I don’t think you can tell what will happen next year, but I will tell you this, Democrats stand tall in support of the Affordable Care Act,” she said. “We have great candidates who are running who are concerned bout our economy, are concerned about government shutdown.”
Pelosi said the economy will be the primary focus of next year’s campaign.
Of health care, she said: “This is an issue that has to be dealt with, but it doesn’t mean, ‘Oh, it’s a political issue so were going to run away from it.’

Actually, for a change she’s saying something pretty close to the truth. In 2010, 34 House donks voted with the GOP in opposing obozo-care. On Friday, only 39 donks voted with the GOP. Only a difference of 5. Hardly a tsunami of defections. The donks are still pretty solidly behind obozo.

If she means “standing tall” as in running for the exit then I guess she is right...man is she stupid.

As a side note (no hijacking intended) I think it’s important to keep in mind as well, that the same lying weasels see no potential problems—no adverse consequences for the American people—in giving amnesty to 20-30 million lawbreakers. Or they believe the benefits outweigh the risks. Benefits, that is, for their Chamber of Commerce, La Raza, union lobbyist paymasters. Now even Juan McCain is re-thinking his Democratic certitude on this issue.

This Krauthammer quote is getting a bit of play. IMO, it is massive and dangerous mis-interpretation of the evil and deceit at the core of leftists like Pelosi, Wasserman, Axelrod, Obama, etc. Denying reality, lying about it, and viciously attacking opponents is what Leftists are all about, all the time.
They will lie and kill to attain and maintain power. When their Communist policies create misery, they deny the misery exists or, to the extent they admit to it, they blame it on their opponents.
By his unwillingness to acknowledge the evil that is at the heart of Pelosi, Dr. Krauthammer is the one in denial here.

If they want to “stand tall” they should renounce their waivers and go on Bummercare. Put their health and their wallets where their mouths are.
Good. I think they should absolutely run on Obamacare. Use it in every ad, tout it in every speech, take “credit” for it wherever possible.
