A TIME FOR EVERYTHING
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
Psalm 130:7 & 8

Hero Over Sin
November 17, 2013
Not long ago, someone asked me a very tough question: What is the longest you have gone without sinning? A week, a day, an hour? How can we answer a question like that? If were truthful, we might say, I cant live a day without sinning. Or if we look back over the past week, we might see that we havent confessed to God even one sin. But we would be fooling ourselves if we said we hadnt sinned in our thoughts or actions for a week.
God knows our hearts and whether were sensitive to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. If we really know ourselves, we take 1 John 1:8 to heart, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. We certainly dont want verse 10 to be true of us, If we say that we have not sinned, . . . His word is not in us.
A more encouraging question to ask might be: What is Gods response to our admission of sin and need for forgiveness? The answer: If we confess . . . , He is faithful and just to forgive us (v.9). Jesus has taken our sin problem upon Himself by dying in our place and rising again. Thats why He can create in us a clean heart (Ps. 51:10). My young friend Jaydon is right when he says, Jesus is the hero over our sins.
No one can say he doesnt need
Forgiveness for his sin,
For all must come to Christ by faith
To have new life within. Branon
Christs forgiveness is the door to a new beginning.

After one has seen enough spiritual progress to reflect on it, one can easily see how sins that we didn’t even know about came to light and then were superseded by grace.
If we are in the sphere of Christ, we’re all sinners in process of losing our sins (or to put it positively, gaining new righteousness). This is arranged by the Lord to come to its conclusion at the point we enter glory.

Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*... did you get to put your dirt to bed for the winter?
I ran errands, and hopefully won’t have to do anything outside tomorrow. Got gas in the suburban....$3.56!! What a shock to see the 50s again.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to the MacNessa family

Did not get to do that, unfortunately - it needs to be done!
We were working in the basement today - making progress. I fell and hurt my back - nothing serious.
Tomorrow we head up the road to see John-Man for a few hours - he graduates next month and we are going to have a big party, of course!

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
