FULL TITLE: Man Fires Gun While Discussing Gun Rights In Vitamin Store, Flees Saying, "I Can't Go Down For This"
A man in Wilkesboro, N.C. was engaged in a spirited discussion about gun rights when his gun went off Tuesday.
The man has not been identified because, rather than stay and make a stand in favor of his right to bear arms, he hightailed it out of there.
The incident happened in a GNC nutrition store on Winkler Street in Wilkesboro sometime around 6:50 pm in the evening. The customer was talking to an employee of the store at the time.
According to the employee, they two were discussing the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right to bear arms, at least in the context of a well-regulated militia.
Pretty heady stuff for a vitamin store. But the men were really getting into it.
Right in the middle of the Constitutional conversation, the customer whipped out a handgun. And then, apparently by accident, he shot a printer.
That was pretty much it for the discussion. The customer declared that he could not go down for this. So he fled.
Police are looking for the accidental gunman and self-styled Constitutional scholar. He is described to be a white male, of about 28 or younger with brown hair, and brown eyes. He is 58″ and weights approximately 170 pounds. He fled the GNC in a dark-colored Honda Civic that appeared about 10 years old.
No one was hurt in the incident. Except the printer
Idiot
Those damned things never work properly, anyway!
If it was an HP, it probably deserved it.................
I’ve shot hard drives, too. The buggers had it coming.
Yeah. This was dumb but the tone of this piece by Mrs. Vankin’s little Jonathan really sucks. He doesn’t appear to be a big believer in the Bill of Rights so he ridicules them. Obviously little Jonathan sees himself as some kind of freaky “constitutional scholar”.
All it takes is one to make us all look bad.
Putz.
For once he was shooting off more than his mouth it would seem!
Drive them hard, and put holes in them.
"Damn, it feels good to be a gangsta....."
guy is an idiot. got too theatrical and became an idiot.
you don’t pull your gun in public for any other reason than because you absolutely have to use it to protect yourself. maybe quickly in a stall or hiding it to make sure it’s seated in its holster securely, but no other reason works for me. certainly not to make a point in a discussion.
this said, he’d be treated far differently if he was a cop and accidentally discharged his gun into theprinter. ‘i felt threatened’ by the printer...
I agree with that completely. Anti 2A politicians and media hacks make good use of this kind of stuff. Shumer, Feinstein, Bloomberg and the like have no better friends than gun owners who behave stupidly with firearms.
Printers and dogs. Both are targets for crazy cops.
—under the circumstances, I’d say yes——
Went and shot his mouth off.
I hate Hewlett Packard!
Not the printers!!!
