Stable heterosexual marriage is the lynchpin for entrance into and preservation of the middle class. The Democrat war on the middle class must necessarily include a war on traditional marriage.

I have a coworker in 20s whose parents came from PRChina and joined a Christian church and he pointed out that Americans giving up church is what broke the community norms thar got us to respect marriage.
He said in China the tradition is that family is the # bound that holds society together, why they dont tolerate gay progression there. same sex families is unthinkable in that culture.
And ultimately, Government becomes the substitute for Family. Explains why most of them are Democrats.
Yeah, Liberalism has been so great for people and society. Liberals just couldn't wait to tear down the guard rails of society because Americans were too uptight and puritanical. They just had to show how modern and hip they were. As it started in earnest in the 60’s it continues with all the hip homosexuals who are “gay”.
The tragedy is that anyone listened to these hedonistic idiots who have done nothing but wreak destruction and misery all along their sizable wake.
The Black community is in an utter shambles, a complete wreck with out-of-wedlock births at a stunning 70+ percent or higher. The White culture is striving mightily to catch up to their urban hipster brethren and are gaining in misery.
How utterly sad that we as a society have allowed these liberal demagogues to take over in America. It is our fault for passively allowing this and for secretly wanting to participate in their miserable lifestyles.
And of course, the number of close friends America has is dwindling. America is becoming a muslim carcass of a country.
That is just a result of abandoning God from our homes and institutions..... for all things are held together by Him ..... the natural progression is simply the breakdown of family and society....it's really that simple.
Meanwhile "something" will and always does fill the void.....name anyone of the many "issues" we face and the heart of the matter will always return to abandonment of God, personally and nationally.

This is a sobering article - and not the first one of these I’ve seen. I’m sure others could say the same. I’m also sure that others have noticed the rise in the most bizzare and horrific crimes of late. Life is cheap in the eyes of so many and they take lives so easily. One passage from 2 Tim.3:1-8 comes to mind, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God…ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” It describes us so well. Even here on freerepublic the comments so often lack substance, depth - focus on humor rather than the more serious, reasoned reply that is called for. All the signs are there and have been for a long time now. We have rejected God and his overtures of love and correction. As green66 posted what was esteemed as good and worthy is now profaned - and the profane glorified. Total glorification of hedonism - that’s America today. It’s not so much that God will judge our nation (he will, of course) but more immediately that we in our desire for “total freedom” (read “real slavery”) will destroy ourselves or so weaken ourselves that another nation - or most likely in our case, another culture (read Islam) will do it for us. The tragedy is that we will furnish the ropes and chains and swords. America, America God shed his grace on thee but we’re too sophisticated for all that now.
